Polish border guard release video of migrant rush on border crossing with Belarus

Polish Border Guard posted this footage of a crowd of migrants gathering at a shut border crossing with Belarus.
In a tweet, the border guard said the migrants were attempting to force their way through the crossing under the supervision of Belarusian forces.
Thousands of migrants and refugees, most of them from the Middle East, have gathered on the Belarusian side of the border with Poland in recent weeks in hopes of crossing into the European Union.
The EU has accused Belarus' authoritarian president, Alexander Lukashenko, of encouraging illegal border crossings as a "hybrid attack" to retaliate against EU sanctions on his government for its crackdown on domestic protests after Lukashenko's disputed 2020 reelection.
