- Is the Too Faced Cinnamon Swirl Palette the BEST one yet? After using this palette for several days, I definitely have some thoughts😄 I'll share my review, swatches and a tutorial using the palette and also show you how it compares to the previous Too Faced fall palettes....and a few others as well. Oh my goodness, Sharalee! You sure have been on a "role" lately! I am just curled up in bed watching and just totally amazed at how you build these BEAUTIFUL eye shadow looks! I've told you, I think, before, that you should try your hand at painting! Your eye for combining colors is just fantastic! I agree with you on your comparison of the shadows and that the newest one, Cinnamon Swirl Palette, may be a bit limiting...however, I LOVE all those warm color tones and I tend to gravitate to those colors the most. I really enjoyed this tonight...What a GREAT way to end my night! Hope the weather out there in California is cooling down a bit! Here in Kentucky, we have had some really beautiful, cooler days and sitting out back on the porch has been just wonderful! Hope you have a blessed rest of your week! You made me hungry with the pallet and shadow names ha ha ha. A great video. Fall is my favorite season also. I just had my nail girl today do a dark raisin wine dipping color on nails and toe polish to match. it’s the beginning of fall even though we have 100 degree weather yuk !!! Beautiful look, as always! I’m convinced you could make any palette look interesting, you always combine & layer shades just creating magic.
Underwhelmed is a good way to describe how I feel about this palette, it seems really “safe” and not very inspiring. I also tend to prefer a more matte heavy palette with a good color gradient in color.
After 5 years (!)I had to retire my Chocolate Bar palette, and when I saw this in my Ulta catalog, I thought I might have to think about that! Now that I saw this beautiful look on you, I definitely have to get it! Love it, Sharalee! Thank you!🥰❤️

I'm ready for some cooler weather!! We live in Houston, Texas. It's always hot and humid down here.. The cooler weather doesn't start coming down here until November, usually around Thanksgiving. I can't wait!! ;)
Oh yes, you have the added "bonus" of humidity...ugh!! There are many years that our cooler weather doesn't start until November either....maybe this year it will come early for us both. One can only hope!🥰

That's what I miss about living up in New York. I love the autumn in NY!! It's wonderful!! Especially, the crisp cool air. I love the leaves changing their colors. They are so beautiful in the Northeast. But, down here in Houston, the leaves just die off by November. They don't change their colors at all. 😊

Hey Sharalee! I love this palette! I think it is right up my alley especially to experiment with some cool eye looks like the one you demonstrated here. It seems like a good palette to not get so overwhelmed by all the colors. Plus it has some of my favorite colors. I think I need to go check it out - plus that fabulous lip color you are wearing!! I love the look you created and always appreciate your honest reviews. I will probably still buy this palette as I am a collector, but I agree, I liked the Teddy Bear Palette better as well. Funny thing though, I still liked the Chocolate Bon Bons palette the best and wish TF would do a re-release of it.

Great question! Usually, I decide what I'm going to wear first and that helps narrow down the palette selection😘 After that, I sometimes choose a palette based on how much time I have to get ready....palettes I'm super familiar with I use when I have less time; newer palettes that I want to experiment with I use when I have more time. And then there are times I just pick a palette because it's my favorite🥰

Probably one of my favorite palettes with almost all matte shadows is the Tarteist PRO Eyeshadow Palette. I do have an older video showing 3 looks with it that I'll link below. It seems like this palette is getting a little hard to find though....might be discontinued. I just purchased a new all-matte palette from Milani that I'm in the process of trying...video review will be coming soon😘

Thank you!💕 Although I don't own either of those two palettes to swatch side by side, I think there are definitely some similar shades in this palette. However, this one does have those few pink shades that are not in either of those other two palettes. Hope that helps!😘

Thank you!🥰 I saw that Morphe + Cherry Coke palette online and thought it was so pretty!! From what I can tell, there probably are some similar shades but I think the Cherry Coke palette definitely has more red tones and deeper pink shades....the Cinnamon Swirl palette doesn't quite go that "red"😘

It is one of my all-time favorite colors by MAC called "O"....literally just the letter "O"😘

No, I haven't but will definitely put that on the "to do" list🥰
Basically if you have any one of these palettes, around half the shades will be repeats. I loved my extra spicy palette but haven't bought any of the others since. They're just too similar and I plan to pan my extra spicy first before going to a new one with the same colors.
Thank you for touting the Mac "O" lipstick--I love it. For a future drug store-product video, I think you should check out L'Oreal's #788 "Golden Grape" and see what you think. I really like it for Fall & Winter. I layer the Bitzy Lip Top Coat in Rose Shimmer from Sally's Beauty Supply over it for a really pretty look. I layer that same Rose Shimmer over ALL of my lipsticks--it's my magic bullet to bring any color to perfection. Try them & let me know your thoughts. Take care!
I am super duper curious why you use the Mac Pot around the lips???? I think I might have an idea but very curious how this works for you!
A few years ago, I was desperate to find something to help keep my lip colors from bleeding outside the lip lines. I'd heard about people using the MAC Paint Pots on the tip of the nose to help keep foundation on during the day so I thought I'd try it around the edge of the lips and found it worked amazingly well at keeping my lip colors from bleeding. As an added bonus, it also helps even out the uneven lip line that I have!😘

Do u have a base on your lips?
Right before applying the lip liner, I applied the MAC "Soft Ochre" Paint Pot around the edge of my lips. It does act kind of like a base to even out my lip line and help my lip liner stay in place😊
