Theory: so if the toy Animatronic were never scrapped but only used for part and place in the backstage. They would be an extra threat and enemy. I believe that the puppet and bb would still be used But I bet the puppet will make the gameplay more difficult while bb is kinda easy to deal with. If the toy animatronic is placed in the safe room, than the gameplay will be normal but with puppet and bb active.

The Timeline if FNAF 2 was in FNAF 1:
The Diner - The normal golden suits and down graded versions of the toy animatronics
FNaF 2 - Withered Toys in the backrooms, classic animatronics on stage. Puppet not withered and still in the box. BB not withered since it is a wooden character.
FNaF 3 - Phantom toys and SpringTrap. Phantom Foxy since 2 Foxy’s are in FNaF 2. Phantom Toy Bonnie will be included. The box will have classic animatronic masks and not Toy Animatronic Masks
FNaF 4 - Nightmare Toys, Nightmare & Nightmare Fredbear
Fnaf 3 wouldn't have toy bonnie
