Most of us were poor in our 20s. We didn’t even know ourselves outside of school or found the right job to learn/live. Linking up legally before 25 is super risky and screams struggle. Marriage is a business and love deal. Finding someone you’re compatible with while broke and learning yourself is a wild path.
You can make all the excuses you like, like we say, men don't care about your education/school and job. A woman who is average looking, younger, with basic high school or college education, and feminine, has a higher chance of finding a quality man than most women with higher education, profession and older.
A prenup solves all of that ambiguity outside of child rearing but that’s where other internal and external factors should come in to make that selection process better and that’s what we’ve lost that past generations had more in abundance.
