"Unsafe At Any Speed" was not just a critical examination of the motor industry, it highlighted the police reports that were structured to place the blame of any accident on the motorists.
Ralph Nader is a true American hero, and has saved more lives than Superman, Batman, and Capt America combined. He is the epitome of a super hero. There needs to be a statue erected of him holding a book and a pen as if they were sword and shield in a victory charge pose.
As a big car guy , I miss the Corvair and it would have gone off the market anyway like the air cooled Volks wagons did in 1974. Air cooled engines need leaded gasoline and are hard to engineer for clean emissions. So we missed out on 5 years of Corvair. Ralph Nadar turned out to be rite on in most of his work. Long live Mr. Nadar. Someone should buy him a Corvair to enjoy , they are fun to drive !
Same reason Bernie Sanders is not President now-- mainly because so many people hold the bizarre opinion that either of the mainstream parties are at all operating in their interests.
He was painted as a complainer but the msm. He also wasn't very good at articulating his platform concisely. I was interested in voting for him and my parents told me it would be a wasted vote. Hopefully we'll have that political revolution soon.
Hey! Where the hell is the info on your attack on Hawaii's big 5 mafia control? It's now big 7! What the hell! I can't find info on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed. Ralph Nader's Corvair slander bizarrely and counter-intuitively paved the way for white flight and endless oil wars. The road to hell was paved with Nader's good intentions. Consider the cars that survived Nader. The Chevy II. The worst frame GM ever made. But it was light, well built, and could be souped up with a big motor. How many people did Nader Save again? I suspect exponentially more were killed as collateral damage...
He was, and still is... the man. Long live Ralph Nader.
Still my hero and always will be.
Long live Nader

Learned Hand I hope so, since all three of those characters are fictional...
Ralph Nader's destruction of cutting edge automobiles in favor of gas guzzling beasts has killed more people and destroyed more lives than plague.
@@bshopbmail1104 Please explain your insane comment ?

One of my gurus. Love him still he didn't care what people thought..saved a lot of lives
nader is the most under appreciated person alive.
He was such a handsome guy in his youth
Alan Moore I can't concentrate on what he's saying. I'm too damn distracted! 😭
Good interview. He has the most beautiful eyes as well though.
Ok, young Ralph Nader could get it
aubrey Absolutely!
Woah a stack of letters, that's a blast from the past.
Nader is right . He couldn't afford to make mistakes in his position.
No doubt to me, that the world would a much better place with people like Ralph Nader in power
Greatest American Ever.

Yo...young Ralph Nader was daddy.
Thanks for this, it was a different world back then, people had power, government would listen, not anymore. Love Nader
How can such a guy run for president four times in a row and NOT get elected?
Same reason Bernie Sanders is not President now-- mainly because so many people hold the bizarre opinion that either of the mainstream parties are at all operating in their interests.

don't be a hater vote for Ralph Nader
Ralph Nader > George Washington
Definitely more courageous. And the best patriot we have.
And why don’t US voters vote for this man when he ran for president. Too many clueless voters who believe tax cuts are superior than consumer rights.
One man selflessly working for the betterment of the human experience and yet he is treated like a pariah by the establishment.
Raider 4 life
0:55 ahhhh, back when the press used to substantiate what people said before broadcasting...
Ralph nader would have been our country greatest president
8:29 Canadian Automobile Protection Association started by Nader's Raiders alumnus
Yes

What the hell!
I can't find info on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big nads
This was totally disproved and a complete sham. If people did not want to bu them they should have not bought them
Yeah! Let's just completely get rid of even the illusion of democracy. Hand it all over, directly to Wall Street.
Lab Goats what? A false claim of a car is far from that
@@jakemf1 when the false claim means people's lives are on the line, it's a huge factor in how free and democratic our system is
I see we got a Friedmannite here
