    OHMYGOD. i watched the video of this production a lot when i was young. and am watching it again 18 years later.

    i watch this again and again, trying to remember my lines for the auditions tomorrow... Im auditioning for Pirate King, for the school production. I think I've got it down pat.

    be loud. I talked in a british accent just for the hell of it for the cold reading.

    It is not 200 years old, the opera's official premiere was at the Fifth Avenue Theatre in New York City on December 31, 1879.

      Landogar85 Gilbert and Sullivan were in America to prevent anymore pirated versions of their shows, especially “H.M.S. Pinafore”.

    For anyone who needs a captain obvious, I just got the triple pun. Funnily enough, even auto subtitles was confused by the accent.
    Thespian sounds like christian if you pronounce it a certain way. It also sounds like lesbian.
