** Here is my most popular video on Classic Babushka headscarf with some secrets on how to tie it! ruclips.net/video/2HwD36aAyAk/видео.html BTW, which headscarf do you like most?
I love scarves and have many in different sizes, colours and fabrics. Your video helps me to understand how the size and fibre of the fabric impacts the look. Thank you.
You have some beautiful vintage scarves, Elena. I particularly like the last silk one and have a feeling it might date from the 1970's when 'any colour goes' was the order of the day. Love the vivid purple and burnt orange! ❤
Thank you so much Elena! A wonderful video - you look so good wearing a headscarf babushka style. I especially liked the red bandana, and the small Liberty scarf - the smaller babushka style is so cute and absolutely perfect. I hope you continue to wear babushka style headscarves, and that other ladies will start wearing them too!
Stunning video - thank you. Would like to see you model your headscarf styles with different coats and macs, worn with the coat done up, collar up or down, scarf tucked in or left loose.
I love this babushka style! I will wear it with my face veil next time I go out. For hijab, I will likely need 35x35 inches square scarf in order to cover all of my hair.
Agree, the minimum size for a hijab is 35x35. BTW, Have you seen my last video? ruclips.net/video/MAMMFPUPts8/видео.html I think Style #3 can be easily transformed to a hijab. What do you think?
@@howtotieascarf7840 what do you tell them? I get asked about my scarves because people think I’m super religious. I smile and tell them I’m just artsy and that I like to try out new things.
I am enjoying your beautifully presented videos so much, thank you. I watched the one on Grace Kelly style first because during lockdown my hair has grown, I now wear it up but it blows about outside. I remember that in the 60’s when wearing hair up was popular scarves were worn often. I think the Grace Kelly scarf style looks best with height on the crown from hair worn pinned up, this gives a lovely profile, what do you think? I am working on being brave and wearing a headscarf which is not seen now in the North of England!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I don't see a headscarves tied like this very often either. But if you like how your face looks with a scarf tied this way, be brave, be beautiful! :)
Thank you Elena for your lovely reply, I ventured out this morning in a fine wool scarf tied Grace Kelly style and was so comfortable and warm I did not worry about looking a bit different 😄
What kind of scarfs did Grace Kelly use for her babushka style looks? I love the look women had when they started to drive cabriolets with scarfs covering there hair and sunglasses. Would you, please, make a video on that look and spice it up with some historical facts?
Hi Eliza, as far as I know, Grace Kelly preferred silk scarves 35 x35'" (90x90cm) . I have a video featuring some of her favorite styles and a lot of pictures of her, wearing scarves. I hope you like it : ruclips.net/video/awKWI4wiDrw/видео.html

Thanks for including the size of the scarves! ❤
My pleasure! :)
You are utterly adorable. And your scarves are eye-poppers! I am American, in California, and rarely see a babushka worn by anyone.
I live in Toronto, and don't see it often either. So, I wear it! :)
These are very nice. My grandmother used to wear these. I lament that we have forgotten their beauty and functionality.
Agree!

Oh, I have a few scarves left from my grandmother as well! Such great memories :)
This is so relaxing :)
Glad you think so!
I would like to see your ideas of a large babushka style headscarf over big voluminous hair
Thank you for the idea!
I wear scarves a lot but not tied like this. I want to but I’m still working up the courage!
Agree, I've seen, that people notice more this style. I was asked a few times why I wear a scarf this way :)

Where did you buy the red/brown plaid scarf the one you use with sunglass. Is the fabric flanel?
I made it myself :) Just a wool fabric, that I cut and made some fringes.
