    Michael Brunson legend. Was very rare seeing him as a newsreader. Normally he would be political or diplomatic reporter. I was 3 years old in 1980

      I was 4. That news music seems odd, just doesn't fit the visuals at all, the only thing I do remember clearly is that Sunday Times ad which I liked as it looked like a board game!

    6:11 Say what you like about the over the top bombast of television news intros these days, that jaunty music over people being led at gunpoint out of a house is hilariously inappropriate (but wonderful!)

    Looks like a clip from rehearsals of Sammy and Bruce (and according to Bruce’s biography there wasn’t very much rehearsal time). The programme must have been recorded very close to transmission

      usbluephones I was about to find out. This programme was shown a couple of years ago and I don’t recall this clip. Thought they did another show
