Works fine for me. Just after activation , when I tried to call Wings number from other phones , I was getting "number does not exists" message. But that is not happening now. Tried with Zoiper in Linux mint , working perfectly.
Tested successfully from the USA. It works only at my work thru WiFi. Does not work thru Comcast Wifi or T-Mobile LTE. Made a couple of calls and goes thru seamlessly - good quality. Not sure if the internal IP assigned at work made a difference since all outbound connection goes thru Proxy.
Hi, I am facing the same problem, seems it need an Indian IP address to connect to the VOIP server. Comcast, tmobile..or any other outside India IP does not work. This is stupid of BSNL to do like this. Actually you cannot even access any of the BSNL regional/circle website like ap.bsnl.co.in from outside India. I already complain of this to BSNL feedback form. They need to open the gates. Its a waste right now. I tried different VPN also, does not work with all. Only specefic ones which I guess there is corruption inside BSNL to allow those ISP. the only VPN worked is which was assigning IP via Tata.
sir if you did not pay the amount that time,better do registration now again and pay the amount Rs1297 and you will get SMS after one day.earlier payment option not available and they are not getting SMS.
I did pay them. But the wings app activation (16-DIGIT PIN) is not made available for the PB circle. All the servers are in Bangalore regardless but the process is made cumbersome by the way BSNL branches and head offices do work. Why not make it super simple. JUL 05 they announced it and now is AUG 12.

I registered for Wings on 20-07-2018 online from kerala circle...on 7th August I got a message from BSNL acknowledgement of registration & a web address to activate wings service...But I am not getting the OTP for the adhaar entry to proceed further. Please give a reply.
You will get OTP if your mobile registered for Aadhar.If not registered please go to nearby BSNL CSC with your CAF serial number(shows like WL_XXXXX).there you can do ekyc.
I registered on 24 July 2018 and Paid. I had not received any communication, after seeing the video and the related links I could complete the first step of registration. But even after many hours I have not received any SMS or Email containing the 16 digit activation code.

There is no need for activation now ..can directly go to app and configure with the password given in the SMS... Need to get the SIP server details SIP User ID is your number itself.... put +91 9188.... give same on SIP Authentication ID
After creating the VoIP password, click the link Configure Grandstreem Wave App Where you will find a QR code. Rest of the steps are same as the video.
no need to wait for 1 week ,it will take hardly 1 day to get SMS.once SMS received do activation in ngn site as provided in SMS and set paasword.install grandstream app by scanning QR code all setting in app done automatically. Thats all now you can make call.call clarity depends on data quality.
For getting adhaar pin you must be given your mobile number while adhaar registration. you can check if the mobile number is registered by going to adhaar website and click on verify your adhaar link
VERY internet dependent. I did a INDIA-->VPN-->(INDIA VPN) to create a loop and the voice fell through the roof. Direct INDIA to the server the voice on Airtel Broadband was FANTASTIC !!!! The calls do not always go through. I think they need to PROVISION more digital lines in the system.
There is some problem with the Private company which deals with the delivery of OTP and PIN numbers, it is Intense Technologies which does this job for BSNL. Actually the PIN is sent from the server but there is technical problem with the delivery to some non BSNL mobile networks. I had never received any communication after I paid at the portal maintained by Intense Technology. Since I did not get any email or sms confirmation I had analysed the situation and noted that it is Intense Technology who handles it. I contacted them they confirmed the payment. After the payment was confirmed, there were no clue until I see this Video blog and the related link for ekyc. I completed the it after many attempts are OTP was never delivered. One day I tried at mid night worked and could select the number and do ekyc. Since I was not getting 16 digit pin, I had contacted BSNL authority through Facebook page / Twitter and accordingly I received call from Trivandrum PG Cell, but they never had any clue regarding the pin. They had written to their corporate office. Many days passed, nothing was happening. Then I emailed to the CMD and all PG cell authorities of BSNL, after some time I received call from Hydrabad NGN BSNL Office, telling that they had sent the 16 digit key many times. But it was the technical problem of OTP/PIN not delivered to many mobile networks. They provided me the 16 digit PIN and I completed the activation. Next day I received the PIN by email from Intense Technologies on 15 August 2018. I could not test the service as I am in UAE where the service is not allowed. As on 14 August 2018, what I understand is that only a small percentage people could activate the service out of the 4000 or more people registered because of the problem in delivering the OPT / PIN with instruction for next step You are supposed to get the OTP or PIN immediately after completing each step. It was a hard job to get the OPT or PIN delivered. If you have not received the PIN I suggest you to file compliant through email to the PG cell. They will assist you. There is no separate customer care wing for WINGS
Exact same experience, after waiting for PIN from last 10 days decided to call Wing support - 9569703704. They shared the PIN on call and all works perfectly.
two issues 1. your account details wrong. did you change the password in the app with the one you made using 16 digit pin. 2. if you are using it from outside india.

This Wings is a bullshit so far. I know in the beginning any new tech will have problem but in wings case wherever we call or any customer service center no one has idea about anything. first of all please educate them properly. they do not know what to answer. they say we do not have any update. i have paid 2000 rupees online for international calling and roaming but after 10 days still it is not active and if you call call center or visit csc they say they have no idea. now i don't know where to knock for the solution. bsnl is too bad.
Kesavan R BSNL Wings will work perfectly fine when you get internet connection. Abroad it is not working very well except for use on VPN. ANYWAY it is a good service but implementation is not to a 100%. I hope they do it correctly and open a new market.

I believe the service BSNL WINGS is only favourable if you are going to foreign trips or staying temporarily abroad. Try to calculate, this service will work only if there is internet service available. Now to make sure internet service you need to have a WIFI or DATA connection, which will fetch around 300/400* INR quarterly. *This 300/400 INR will give you combo pack including voice calls.
This is for places where there is no network coverage. But has some sort of cable or fiber connection. I use it for my other house. It's situated in a place where there is no internet connection. But I do have airtel 4G at the top of my home. So I keep a modem at top of my house and use Wings apps to make calls.
Finally India have introduced VOIP.

CAF Serial number is issued only after completing the registration. To complete the registration you need to verify with Adhaar

once EKYC done you will get 16 digit PIN immediately and do registration and set password ,service activated instantly.

Everything done, SCAN the QR CODE and add password. If you are NOT on WiFi, in advanced settings remove WiFi ONLY !!!
