  • What kind of jadrool bastard complains about something as insignificant as wearing a mask? Are any of these shit-for-brains crybabies aware that during the 1918 pandemic in various counties in California, one could be thrown in the can for ten days for not wearing one? If this kind of pathetically low level of group sacrifice had been around during World War 2, would we all be speaking German right now.
CPBBD has gained too many followers as of late, so here's an attempt to clean house and purge some of the jackasses, especially those stupid enough to leave angry comments.
Why not have this "flushing of the toilet" occur in a video highlighting a rare member of the lily family known only from two mountain tops in Northern California? #Calochortus #persistens is so named because the sepals persist long after the flower has been pollinated. It grows on pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks in the Klamath Mountains in open exposures in otherwise shady coniferous forest.
    #Silene campanulata
    #Collomia grandiflora
    #Triteleia crocea
    #Penstemon speciosus
    #Erigeron klamathensis
    #Frasera albicaulis
    #Lilium washingtonianum purpurascens
    #Calochortus persistens

What a delight after the doldrums and depression that comes of looking at the news about coronavirus and mask conspiracy whack-os! Your well-placed misanthropy puts a smile on my face. I laughed aloud at your inspirational butterfly calendar close-up. And then you shifted from the absurd to the sublime with your next panorama as you rounded the bluff to show us the Silene campanulatum. It was breath-taking, albeit brief. I had to rewind and pause to take it in. There were so many plant and rock textures in that sweep of your camera that are worthy of the adoration of an Impressionist master. I DO want to screenshot and frame that one, since I can't go out to see it myself. Thank you for taking us along.

The little babe didn't run it just cocked its head like 45* and looked, my dogs were trying to get to it but they were on leash. I waved and said "Hey pretty baby" then it's head cocked like 90* haha and it wagged it's little tail. Beautiful.

I recently got a 4k TV and well, it's mostly to look at cool nature shit. The details of plants are always so much cooler IRL, and while your vids are great, they would be fuckin' AMAZEBALLS if they were shown at Planet Earth II resolution. Hell, I bet many subscribers here would donate to get you a nice camera, or if you're just using a phone and prefer that (I know I do - big cameras are a pain in the ass to carry around when hiking in cool areas), one that can record in 4k nicely. Seriously. I'd put $100 towards getting you a good camera :D

Our neighbor that brought the starthistle doesn't spray anyway, and our other neighbor is someone's father-in-law and doesn't spray either. Hey buddy,
if you have an ear wig like that on 25:00, you'll have to think of the end of the song to get rid of it.
    It really works!
    TY for sharing.

Uh oh, Pacific Bulb Society 🔥! Seriously though growing Calochortus would be amazing if you could (tolmiei would be the one I would try if I could) -- I wonder if it would be possible though without the serpentine or other special soil types. And obv taking the seeds just to potentially waste them if it doesn't grow seems wrong.

Hey man, I may be wrong in this case, but usually basalt makes shield volcanos. That thing looks like something else; rrhyolite or andesite?

It's very old (>65 Mya) , metamorphosed volcanics.... Any volcano it would have made has since been made unrecognizable and weathered.

Your beard expels vapor like your mouth and nose? It breaths stuff into your lungs like your mouth and nose? 🤔
Just checking because my beard doesn't and I was afraid I got shortchanged. I wear a mask and haven't caught the virus, either. Havent won the lottery, been hit by a train or struck by lightning either.
