First time going to the building in 95, the twins had matching Benz red and blue and Scan had the Batman 5.0, this when Wabash and 220 was up. Being from Milwaukee and seeing how the building was getting money was crazy. Came there another time and it was two lines going in the building up to the 4th floor, one going to the right and the other to the left. One sold crack the other heroine and they was coming in cabs, fuck my head up.
Damn it was another building? I remember being young asl seeing the calumet building from my school damn it must’ve got knocked down in the late 90’s or some or before my time
They came down to Atlanta and setup shop. I met them back in the early 2000s. They opened up a club down here called Jaguars. They had those matching Rolls Royce and matching Jaguars
I was born in the 70s, and my father and stepmother had a building on 62nd and Rhodes in the 80s. I used to stay with him during the summers and HATED walking past them buildings. Either you could get beaten or robbed. I knew Parkway was there. Nothing was ever going down. A few years later, I'm off the porch fully, and I meet them over on the Eastside on some car business. We weren't 17 yet. I lived in Beverly, and they would be in Foster Park... if ykyk! I was l locked up with one of them in the 90s. We lived like kings in prison. Regardless of snitching... they were Paid in Full!
Bro I remember I use to call that radio station n talk it crazy u brought Dat up cuz I was just thinking of that shit n couldn't remember what station it was lmfao
This my hood, that line started in Pkwy (BDs) but it was 1 way in/out. They did a deal w/GDs (Met Bldg) & it went down. Used 2 be 2 bldgs Wabash (torn down 1st) b4 they took over the Met.
Cause it was one building and one group ran it like a true money making business. The reasons you hear about the other areas is due to childish wars like present day Oblock, the old Caprini Green, Statesway, The Horner Homes, etc. just war after war for nothing. Twins and the Met building were about money.
@@FatGuy1 damn it was mc’s and vice lords in the greens? Thought all the high rises in Cabrini was predominantly gd’s but than again it kinda make since cause Marshall fields down the street literally got mc’s and vice lords in it
I come from a family of bds AND gds. the calumet building , parkway , 63 rd and eberheart all used to be my family areas . I got a pic when I was a kid we was at the 6-tre picnic!!

Aye this was the times fr them buildings felt like the White House for a child like me it was a different time period too, i can see how a young boy/or girl could get manipulated in that lifestyle if they came from a single parent household or no structure at all.(Luckily for me I didn’t) it was fun and more of a unity amongst everyone from the BDs to the women to the kids I literally don’t remember anything illegal or bad so they did a good job in concealing the negativity from the youth and protecting the community and everyone around there that’s why it wasn’t no violence it was just money and glamorous shit💯But them Benzes and Jags my Unc had I was in them mfs fasho we was chilling lol he was a Board Member he was on that case too his name C Mac but I knew all the big homies from over there and they knew my people the twins cool I know them they still know me today and many more. I knew J Mane daddy too his name Lil Man. The only one I don’t remember seeing was Vell maybe because he was the King and probably didn’t live there(Not sure) But man this was when the whole city was different and you can kinda live life without worrying especially as a kid I used to run around and play while my people was serving and my mama was cooking and nothing never happened to me or anybody else, and if it was the leaders warned all the parents and innocent people about violence if it was to come💯
