- Hello Beautiful People!
Y'all know that I love experimenting with new combinations for my braid outs and twist outs. I seen some of my favs use a mousse or a foam to give their braid outs and twist outs some definition without the crunch of a gel. If you want to know what other products I paired with the mousse and how the combination worked for my hair, then check this video out!

It came out really nice and look elongated to me 😉 I like mousse cause it dries fast 😂
Thanks Denise 😊. Actually my braids took a long time to dry but I think it’s because braids trap in the moisture more than twists so for me. If I did twists they probably would have dried way faster 😂😂😂
Welcome to the light 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah girl I been in the dark for real 😂
I love a mousse in my twist outs, braid outs and any set styles 🥰🥰🥰
Hey Kenya! I def need to use it more often. I loved my results. Thanks for watching 💕😊
Nisha, that pink looks so good on you😍 and hair is POPPIN!!!!!!😍😍😍
Awww thank you so much 😊💕
For some reason, I only use foams in the spring/summer months. The winters in Ohio are brutal and I need some leave-in, butter, oil, gel combos to retain my moisture. I have foams from CR, Mielle, Alikay and Nairobi and use them for WNG's (leave-in and foam only). You hair looks wonderful!!!!!
Thank you love ❤️ Yes I’ve been seeing the snow in Ohio in this winter ❄️. For me I will say the foam does keep the moisture in my hair but I know that is not the case for everyone lol
7:53 😍 You look stunning! ❤
Awww thank you my love ❤️
Your hair looks amazing 😍
Thank you so much Surayya 😊
Your hair looks great! I recently got the curl setter and you are correct when you say it gives you moisture but not much hold. I used it on a braid out and it only lasted two days. I just set my hair using the coconut water leave in, style setter and topped it with the curl maker and I got AMAZING results. I am in love! I think next time I may try a mousse as well. Great video as always 🙌🏾
Yesssss Courtney! So glad you tried it. I actually used almost the same combo in my winter wash day video. I just used the curl love at my leave in instead lol. Def need to try it with the coconut water leave in! Thanks for watching love 💕
I use Nairobi wrap foam for my twist out. That's it, no leave in, no deep conditioner. Just 3 products shampoo, conditioner and foam. My hair is sooooo soft it's crazy
That Nairobi is awesome!
Hey Laura 😊. A lot of people have been talking about this Nairobi wrap foam. Will def look into it. Thanks for watching love 💕
How long did your definition last for and what's your hair type? I'm struggling to get definition on my 2nd day hair. I'm 4c
Just tried the new Mielle Honey and Pomegranate. Mousse on my braid out. Made my hair softie silk but defined! I got it on their 6 dollar sale. Need to try the Camille rose cream
I love that mousse ! it worked so well on its own. I even added kinky curly knot today with it and my hair was moisturized for a week.
I saw that they came out with a new mousse. I bet it smells soooooooo good lol. Thanks for watching love 💕
Yes! Lovely results 😍
Thank you so much Melissa ❤️
Glad i came back to watch this again! I needed to figure out how to get a quick setting fast drying hair style again! Thanks 🙏🏾
Thanks so much for watching! Typically my braidouts take a while to dry but this one didn’t take too long 💕
Your hair looks amazing, I have this same combo will definitely be trying it. 👍🏾
Thank you so much love 💕. Try it out and let me know how it works for 😊
Hair goals 😍
Awww thank so much Remika 💕
I use mousse for my braid outs. I like the doux, Nairobi, design essentials and lotta body mousse
This came out really well!!! I really need to start using mousse more. I did it once for a wash and go, and really liked it.
Thank you so much love 😊. Working on the wash n go lol. Didn’t really work well for me but for a twist out it is bomb! Thanks for watching love 💕
Whoa 😍! This looks ah-mazing! 😍❤️
Awww thank you so much love ❤️
Thanks for sharing this! I really didn’t think mousse would work. I’m going to try it now. I like that it will provide hold without taking away from the moisture.
Hey Kara! I think it would really be good for the winter for sure. Not sure how foam would hold up in the humid summer though lol. Thanks for watching love 💕
I need to try this combo. Your hair looks very moisturized
Thank you so much 😊. Def try out and let me know how it works for you!
Hey Nisha!🖐🏾 You're on to something with this combo, it looks really good.💕 I don't quite have enough hair for a twist or braid out, but I use mousse for my wash go. Nairobi wrapp-it shine foaming lotion and Elasta QP styling foam mousse were staples, but Lotta Body mousse has become a favorite now.
Hey Tina 💕. I can def see mousse being a good option for a wash n go on shorter hair! I have sleeping on Lotta body lol. Thanks for watching ❤️
I use design essentials almond and avocado mousse for all my twist outs. I love it.
So I’m basically late to the mousse party 😂. Thanks for watching love 💕
@@NJEberhart nah, I'm late to the whole natural thing. But because of you I've been looking for all the black owned beauty supply stores around Atlanta and Sandy Springs.
OMG, I haven’t used mousse in forever. Your hair looks beautiful
Aww thank you so much 😊💕
Hey! Fabulous results, I love it! I want to try lottabody but bask and bloom had me at first pump lol! I love Camille Rose coconut style setter and you are right it’s moisturizing but not enough definition. I heard Design Essentials mousse is good too.
Awww thank you so much Tammi 😊. You def sold me on the bask & bloom mousse. Will def be trying that one out! And CRN coconut style setter is bae 😍.
Wow 😳 looks beautiful ❤️💯
Thank you so much Myrtle 💕
NJ I luv your hair 💕🥰.. yep I luv that LottaBody.. I only use this one haven’t tried any others yet.. thanks NJ
Aww thank you love 💕. It’s a really good mousse and I have been sleeping on it lol. Thanks for watching love ❤️
Your hair looks great! 😍😍 I definitely have been meaning to try a foam for a twist. Some of my favs are Terra Veda Organix foam, design essentials almond & avocado and the tgin rose water!
Thank you Dominique 😊😊😊. This has made me curious to try other foams so I def will have to try some of those out. Thanks for watching 💕
Hair is so pretty as always, but this braid out is bomb.
Thank you so much Shundra 💕
Your hair is bomb!!! Don’t try this combo in the summer or warm weather. Chileeeee frizz
😂😂😂 girl I already know! I can’t do any style in the summer without a gel or else my hair will not last more than 2 days. But def thanks for putting me in lotta body 💕
@@NJEberhart 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Wow! I love how your hair came out! 😍 It looks shiny, defined, and elongated! I never really tired mousse for twist outs before. I do have this mouse, maybe I sure try it 🤔. Please let me know if it lasted for a week for you. I too do not like doing my hair Multiple times a week. Great video!
Thank you so much Elizabeth 😊💕. I would say that my style lasted 4 days without twisted but that’s typically how long my styles last before I need to put them on a puff lol. Thanks for watching
I haven't used mousse since my relaxed days. I just started wearing my hair in its curly form and I've been using African Pride's Shea Miracle Bouncy Curl Pudding or African Pride gel cream. I love the pudding. Love the gel cream, but there is some flaking with that. I have tried setting with Ecostyle gel and it was ok. I have a small bottle of wetline xtreme I'm going to try 🤷🏾♀️
Hey Jayda! I def say try out wetline. I use to always get flakes with eco styler but don’t get any with wetline.
Your hair looks great! And I agree with wanting to style your hair once and being done until next wash day... I’m the same way! Ain’t nobody got time for that 😂
Thank you so much love 💕. Yeah we done want to be doing our multiple times a week. No ma’am 🙅🏾♀️😂.
Beautiful hair!!!!
Thank you so much love ❤️
Looks good. I’ll have to give it a try.
Thank you Diane! Def try it if you want definition and moisture 😊
@@NJEberhart That’s exactly what I want. Thanks again.
hey NJ, im glad your braid out gave you good results. i JUST tried a foam WnG with Lotta Body and it was a no for me 🙅🏾😂 i def want to try foam with a twist out tho. hopefully i get results that i like. tfs 😊
Thank you Melinda 😊. And yeah girl I don’t trust foams for a wash n go for this type 4 hair lol. I haven’t even tried but I know my hair would be hot mess lol. Let me know how it works for the twist out or braid out 😊
👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👸🏾I have never styled with a foam, I have to try it❤️❤️😘
Def a great wait to keep moisture and get definition! Thanks for watching Shante 💕
Sorry I've been MIA and missed some of your videos(I've been battling Corona) but this was an excellent combo and I will be trying it. It looked so good on your hair Nisha💜
Hope you are feeling better!!!
Ingrid don’t apologize at all! Your health comes first! I hope that you are doing well and are recovering! So sorry you had to battle with it! ❤️❤️❤️ sending prayers your way
Glad you’re getting better!!!
I never use foam BUT I plan to try a rod set for Valentines and I’m gonna try the doux
Yessss! A rod set will be so cute for Valentine’s Day!
Lotta body has changed my life!!!
I really did like it for this style. Gotta try it for a perm rod set or flexi rod set. Thanks for watching Lacey 😊
@@NJEberhart when ever I get the courage to try those I will use it lol
❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for watching love 💕
I love Nairobi Foam & I haven’t had another foam work better for me yet
Hey love 🤗. So many have been talking about this foam in the comments. I’m missing out 😂. Thanks for watching 💕
I need to get me that lotta body foam setting spray. I have the honey one (I think) but hold is light to me.
Oh yes I forgot they had the honey line as well. Might have to try that mousse out to compare lol.
I rarely use foams
You and me both but I really liked how my hair turned out. Thanks for watching Julie 💕
Did you get any flacks?
Hey Fatima 🤗. No ma’am, I didn’t get any flakes!
I never used mousse.
I normally don’t either but I really did like it for this style! Thanks for watching 💕
