The emotional connection I get whenever I watch Transformers Series is insane. The music...the characters...Optimus' voice...Peter Cullen always kills it.

I know a lot of people exclude AOE and TLK from the franchise, but AOE holds a place in me. I have been obsessed with the bayverse movies since I was younger and met a kid in 1st grade who also loved them as much as I did. We would always talk about it, maybe even sometimes pretend play as some of the characters. When AOE came out, we were stoked. It devastated me when he had to leave. I think he had to move or something. But I'll never forget the small Grimlock toy he gave me. I haven't found it since.. I miss you Travis.

Dion Pride There is a thing called fun. Yeh, these movies suck(First one was ok before they ruined it with shitty humor) but they are fun to watch. It is a lot of things going boom and robots talking. That is why you see this movie. If you honestly watch this expecting a decent story then you probably suck at picking movies.
Haha... I really have to eat my words... this film was AMAZING. It was actually about the Transformers themselves, each one of them had character. The story was engaging, the special effects were obviously jaw dropping, the characters were brilliant and cheesy, strong female characters, massively expanded universe with lots of exposition. The origins of the Transformers was explained, but left questions that may be revealed in the next installment. The Autobots were each given loads of screen time, had plenty to say, Galvatron was amazing and sounded just like G1 Megatron, his story was amazing especially how he was the real one in control. Lockdown was a really great villain - ruthless, brutal, an utterly cold killer who was, refreshingly for a villain, ambivalent towards humans. Poor Ratchet and Leadfoot... their fates really made me hate Lockdown. Michael Bay has outdone himself this time and has really breathed new life into Transformers. This film is completely different in tone to the previous three - Mark Wahlberg had a really good performance, his character was very relate-able and much easier to sympathise with than Sam Witwicky who I found obnoxious. Of course it was cheesy, but it's Transformers so why would you expect otherwise? My jaw dropped, I got goosebumps, shivers down my spine. I was blown away by this film. Funnily enough though I watched the first Transformers film from 2007 and I said to myself "this is stupid, it barely shows the Transformers! If only it showed them more, it would be amazing." What do you know, this film truly delivered as a PROPER TRANSFORMERS FILM and I was not disappointed.

I feel this movie is going to have a more mature feel than the previous 3 movies. New cast, new robots, new looks and new era, I think this is going to have a darker theme. I hope they really limit the humour too and make this a serious movie.
I'm really excited for the movie, but I'm really hoping that two things improve from the last movie: 1. The lead blond isn't uselessly standing around just for dramatic shots, but she actually is badass and helps out. 2. Bumblebee gets more screen time.

I don't think we will ever get it, one of the main points of Unicron (in the Transformer Armada series) was that it was too big a threat for the Autobots to handle and that they had to team up with the Deceptacons, considering that in this Universe the Deceptacons are almost all gone I doubt it will ever happen.

Jordan Digby I doubt they've killed off all the Decepticons. There are loads. Though if they did, it's very difficult to find robotic life-forms with a motive to attack Earth because of The Transformers. Unless they're the Quintessons, which would be awesome, since they invented The Transformers (read their story it's really cool). But I saw nothing in the trailer indicating that it could be them. Grimlock looks horrible too. I hope they give him a character like they did in the series.

It's Transformers, there's no top-notch story for you and you shouldn't expect to see that. The animation and the films are all about explosions and Michael Bay's perfect for that.

I didn't think it would be the last. What I'm saying is this is Bay's last TF film, after that someone else should take over and whoever that is they should focus more on what TF should really be about and perhaps Cybertron would be a good place to start.

Actually you see optimus prime get pissed off in the third movie when he find outs that the humans didn't tell him about the pillars ect on the dark side of the moon.

I don't think we will ever get it, one of the main points of Unicron (in the Transformer Armada series) was that it was too big a threat for the Autobots to handle and that they had to team up with the Deceptacons, considering that in this Universe the Deceptacons are almost all gone I doubt it will ever happen.
Thought it was gonna be this movie.... Next movie they will prob have the contructicons or something. :/

Jordan Digby I doubt they've killed off all the Decepticons. There are loads. Though if they did, it's very difficult to find robotic life-forms with a motive to attack Earth because of The Transformers. Unless they're the Quintessons, which would be awesome, since they invented The Transformers (read their story it's really cool). But I saw nothing in the trailer indicating that it could be them. Grimlock looks horrible too. I hope they give him a character like they did in the series.

It's Transformers, there's no top-notch story for you and you shouldn't expect to see that. The animation and the films are all about explosions and Michael Bay's perfect for that.
people don't go to these movies to see well developed charactors or a well developed plot. they go to see giant robots fight each other.

To be fair you are true but this might not be the last Transformers film they'll make. It might be leading up to Cybertron on the next transformers. We'll just have to wait :)
I didn't think it would be the last. What I'm saying is this is Bay's last TF film, after that someone else should take over and whoever that is they should focus more on what TF should really be about and perhaps Cybertron would be a good place to start.
the first three were about a boy and his car, the fourth is about a truck and his dinosaur. still a better love story than twilight.
