It is really by helping one another that we can conquer any challenge.
I just wanted to express my gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of help,
assistance, and kindness shown by various organizations and volunteers who came and assisted in the rescue
and retrieval operations, the donors for their generosity,
the different groups behind the donation drive, and the media, particularly those
who filed reports that depicted the overall situation rather than just the negative aspects.
Even though we grieve alongside the families of the victims, we appreciate all of your efforts.
Thank you for proving that not all heroes wear capes
and the bayanihan spirit is alive and strong in the Province of Leyte once again.
And to all Agaton survivors, please be strong and remember that when there is still life, there is hope.
