I think this video shows Alice running somewhere, and getting trapped in some place where she's hated/ignored by everyone. Misanthrope = someone who hates people or society, and in turn this drives her crazy and now she also hates everyone, possibly leading to murders. At the end, the person who brought her there (early text in the video) confronts her and she was probably going to attempt to kill him.

This is also why everyone is the generic signs used in places such as restrooms, they were all the same to her. She was boring too, she had fallen into place with these patterns of how people act, and she was constantly exposed to it now, and developed a misanthropic mindset. She ways disappointed that it wasn’t as great as she’d expected, and decided to get rid of it. The person we see is someone who’s more different, and doesn’t fall exactly into a pattern, and that’s why Alice stops for a moment. One of the best songs out there personally, can’t believe it’s this old!
