So I have just taken delivery of my new S10 - been using Apple for the last 8 years (was still on the iPhone 5s until yesterday) and the difference is immense! I was so scared of going to Android, but with just 1 day with the S10 i'm in love. The customisation is crazy, and the screen quality! OMG. I am now a full convert.

I'm still using my S6 Edge+ and I think now it's a good time to upgrade to the S10+ . I like to keep my phones at least three years because there is absolutely no reason to upgrade every year to a new phone.

Yo bro, u should just wait 1 or 2 month. All colors will be available worldwide. I really liked that pinkish color. The color of peach. I mean buying that color for a guy would be weird. But i would definitely buy it if it were available in France and i were a girl . The problem is its not available in France. So... Just wait a bit if u really want that color. U still got a lot of choice in U.S. I visited the U.S. samsung site and the french ones, and in U.S. u got so much options. @@artemkh8944 I would definitely wait a couple of months if I had a phone currently. However my phone exploded about a week ago so right now I have no phone. I knew it was going to happen but was hoping it'd last a few more months but it didnt. It exploded and sent little fireballs flying around my room, burnt my hand, and made the power in my house go out because it had been plugged in when it happened haha. So, sadly, I need a phone sooner rather than later. If I didn't have kids then I'd go without a phone for a few months and wait since I have a house phone. But I like having a cell phone in case their schools need to get a hold of me when I'm not home or something. I've never bought any flagship phone before and when I saw that green I decided I'd spend the money to have a good phone and have it in a pretty color. So it was quite disappointing to not be able to get it on preorder here. But the prism white is pretty too. Hi Jeff. In the S10, do you still experience an issue when say you have a couple of notifications in the panel showing new text and email messages and once you swipe the clear off the notification panel that the badge count of that app also disappears?
Curious if the S10 has any manual settings for video mode in the camera app....also called pro mode.... Our S9' s no longer do since Pie/1 UI update. Can't even do a basic exposure lock. Is the S10 the same?

does it come with the samsung music player already installed or does it only have the google play music app by default? My S7 didnt have the samsung music player installed when I got it so I had to download it of the internet manually

Or when you screenshot does it give you the option to crop or "capture more"? On my S7 when I screenshot it gives me the option to crop the picture then and there, share it, or capture more of the picture by expanding the photo virtically (Fore example, If youre on facebook and press the capture more option it will expand the picture downwards through the page to make a longer picture, making it taller/longer) Im sorry for the odd way of wording this, I dont know how else to describe it, Im just hoping that the function is still active as I use it a fair amount
Hello, l just purchased my S10 a week ago. I have already mistakenly silenced notifications, in coming texts. Although it showed everything in the sound section was up I wasn't hearing it. Somehow I hit something somewhere outside of that. How do I avoid making unwanted changes? Thanks.
Highly recommend otterbox for phone cases, nothing else compares. They are on the more expensive side, but really worth it and look real good. Get one.
@@jspring86 Everyone has their preferences, had a look and they look pretty good. Out of curiosity, do they have any cases which come with covers over the ports? That's the main reason I love otterbox.

What is the best protective case fore this phone? I've always gone with otterbox defender because I drop my phone on a daily basis, but Ive heard there are better brands that show the phone off better. I really want a clear case, but im afraid thats not enough protection.

I just got an S9 plus for cheap like 2 weeks ago. I like its design more than S10 and it was a good deal price wise lol. 9 out of 10 things in this video also apply to the S9 which I’m happy about lol. only Digital well-being isn’t there, don’t know if the S9 will get it soon

I cancelled my preordered for the S10 plus and order the S10 in blue (128 gb). I am excited. I felt that I didn't need the second selfie camera. I don't do a lot of selfee. I take a lot of pictures of my dogs.
Yeah the S10 camera on the rear is very good.

Yo bro, u should just wait 1 or 2 month. All colors will be available worldwide. I really liked that pinkish color. The color of peach. I mean buying that color for a guy would be weird. But i would definitely buy it if it were available in France and i were a girl . The problem is its not available in France. So... Just wait a bit if u really want that color. U still got a lot of choice in U.S. I visited the U.S. samsung site and the french ones, and in U.S. u got so much options. In France we only got like what... black white and green prism colors and white and black ceramic. Thats all.
@@artemkh8944 I would definitely wait a couple of months if I had a phone currently. However my phone exploded about a week ago so right now I have no phone. I knew it was going to happen but was hoping it'd last a few more months but it didnt. It exploded and sent little fireballs flying around my room, burnt my hand, and made the power in my house go out because it had been plugged in when it happened haha. So, sadly, I need a phone sooner rather than later. If I didn't have kids then I'd go without a phone for a few months and wait since I have a house phone. But I like having a cell phone in case their schools need to get a hold of me when I'm not home or something. I've never bought any flagship phone before and when I saw that green I decided I'd spend the money to have a good phone and have it in a pretty color. So it was quite disappointing to not be able to get it on preorder here. But the prism white is pretty too. Plus i can always just get a pretty case or something if I want to. :) i wish we had that green though instead of the pink!
@@Jamie-zs2bl oh i feel bad for that explosion :/ U made me think bout cases and its true that most of them hide the back panel, so u cant actually see that nice green color and it sux. But at least u got a lot of choice in what concers cases. So u r right, a good case and eveything will be fine.

@@amithrajkunte Awww that sucks. I hate to pay so much for a phone in the first place, but especially when its not the color you want... To me its kind of just an extra knot in my stomach when I think about how I just forked over a thousand bucks.

It's it worth it to get the unlock model? They ran out of the nice colors for the carrier model same I see that the unlock model takes months to get updates
You mentioned that you've got used to the gestures option on the s10 because you used something particular on the s9, could you provide me some more info about that as I'm owning an s9+ and I'd like to try that!

Right now I haven't tested any glass protector that works, but I have more coming and will keep testing!
I saw the video of mark brownlee testing out the glass screen protector. And no, using a glass screen protector won't recognize your fingerprint.
Whitestonedome claims to have one that works. It's not impossible, just no company has done it yet

I don't think the default app has that feature in One UI. I'll keep looking but there are 3rd party apps that do.

Hi Jeff. In the S10, do you still experience an issue when say you have a couple of notifications in the panel showing new text and email messages and once you swipe the clear off the notification panel that the badge count of that app also disappears?
Curious if the S10 has any manual settings for video mode in the camera app....also called pro mode.... Our S9' s no longer do since Pie/1 UI update. Can't even do a basic exposure lock. Is the S10 the same?

As for my S9+, I saw pro on my camera. I believe it's it. They just change the name. I have almost everything back one my One UI.

does it come with the samsung music player already installed or does it only have the google play music app by default? My S7 didnt have the samsung music player installed when I got it so I had to download it of the internet manually

@@jspring86 also now that I remember this, does the screenshot work the same as most other phones, meaning that it just screenshots and thats it? Or when you screenshot does it give you the option to crop or "capture more"? On my S7 when I screenshot it gives me the option to crop the picture then and there, share it, or capture more of the picture by expanding the photo virtically (Fore example, If youre on facebook and press the capture more option it will expand the picture downwards through the page to make a longer picture, making it taller/longer)
Im sorry for the odd way of wording this, I dont know how else to describe it, Im just hoping that the function is still active as I use it a fair amount

Hello, l just purchased my S10 a week ago. I have already mistakenly silenced notifications, in coming texts. Although it showed everything in the sound section was up I wasn't hearing it. Somehow I hit something somewhere outside of that. How do I avoid making unwanted changes? Thanks.
Highly recommend otterbox for phone cases, nothing else compares. They are on the more expensive side, but really worth it and look real good. Get one.
Speck is just as good and very reliable. Also not nearly as bulky as OtterBox. I value utility and slimness in my cases.
@@jspring86 Everyone has their preferences, had a look and they look pretty good. Out of curiosity, do they have any cases which come with covers over the ports? That's the main reason I love otterbox.
I would get otterbox symmetry for my s10, but I want a clear case to see the prism white back.
@@knightyknight2 They have a clear symmetry case. I got the black one but didn't realise it didn't have covers for the ports, so ended up just today buying the defender one.

Only ever had iPhones but upgraded to the Galaxy 10+. Took a while to get used to it, love it now. Never going back to Apple.

Would you say that the prism green is tending to look a little bit more like blue in the video compared to in person? Some people are complaining about that in other videos.
I'd say it looks green in person, but in certain lighting it can look blue. I still love the color though.
