Alip ba ta is a god father acoustic guitar. All song he covered, touching my feeling. He such an brilliant for how to make a beautiful sound comes out from a cheaper acoustic guitar. I don’t give a damn if it an electric guitar. He is awesome & humble.

Hi, I am an Indonesian. Actually I've been familiar with a part of this music since I was very kid, but not as a Theme Song of "The Godfather" hollywood movie, but as a music introduction of a local TV program of TVRI (Televisi Republik Indonesia) Surabaya Station, called "Kesehatan Masyarakat" (Public Health), which was aired every Tuesday, 5.30 pm (it was around 1978 - 1980, I guess...)
I am Indonesian., I like that Mafia films ... very good films, full of messages of morality ... my opinion about Sicilians (from that film), they are very loyal, very devout Catholics, very fond of parents and very romantic.
Thanks for that eye-opener about Sicily and the pain still felt from the Mafia , I've never made such a faux pas but it's very good to know for the future.

Honestly... I never watched The Godfather movie. But I read Mario Puzzo's books .. The Godfather, The Sicilian around 30 years ago.. and it is still one of the best books that I ever read... Movie tells you nothing except acting... Books tell you everything
