My favourite song of the recent album... Met the band at a store signing in manchester yesterday... Nicest guys you could ever meet and the future of rock n roll.... Gives you hope for this generation
This album is just amazing.
This song is by far one of the most darkest that Rival Sons has ever made. The chorus has been in my head like 3 days allready? hahaha
i find it ridiculous when people compare these guys to led zep. i dont find them at all like led zep. Rival Sons are their own thing. Raw and amazing music

Really? I can definitely see some influence, especially in Open My Eyes. It doesn't really affect how I listen to them though because I still enjoy them as Rival Sons, not as Zeppelin 2.0
+Bryan Pescara This reminds me of The Animals - meets The Door - meets The Yardbirds - these guys have a retro - it's not bad, but it's not completely original either -at the --3:22-- mark it sounds a bit like Richie Blackmore's band 'Rainbow's - song 'Stone Cold'- he's got the Bonham barely muffled drum sound - the snare drum, nor the toms are muffled at all - you get that full, round, warm drum sound & the bass drum sounds like the lowest sounding drums - which is not common today in modern rock, nor metal.
"Raw" and "amazing" are absolute worthless words to describe the type of music someone plays.
People rightly compare them with Led Zeppelin, The Animals, Cream and even The Doors.
That's because their play style has those influences. What's ridiculous about it?

I saw Rival Sons at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland Oregon last February ...I already was a huge fan of their music but my friends had never heard of them. They started strong with Electric Man one of my favorites I looked over at my friends and they were AMAZED they were rocking out and at the end all left with CD's.......What a performance Rival Sons Rock
Just recently discovered RS and am going to see them at the Wonder in Portland in May... very excited!!!

its a shame that these guys get constantly accused of copying Led Zep. I think any band after Led Zep that plays hard rock and are brilliant like these guys will be accused of copying Led Zep.. Anyhow..these guys are fucking awesome
Your right people are so quick to name check zeppelin,zeppelin are a great band but artists like these have so many influences,myself i love the jeff beck group who influenced zeppelin and steve marriot who also influenced robert plant but you rarely hear people drop those names.

For me they're like a mixture of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Sometimes guitar sounds like Iommi's tones and effects and vocals reminds me R. Plant and his feeling. But who cares? They're awesome and this is what matters!

Very DOORSesque, mixed in with ZEP, and white stripes for good measure... throw in some " Animals".... and you have a tremendous band. When I heard this in the record store I had to buy the album.
