I think he's better with IS. He made excellent combos at the beginning and I know the EM gave him trouble but thats no reason to spam luna to catch. And why use luna on the CBS twice? She didnt need that more than once. It's kind of an unfair playstyle.
Matt Albanese o.o You do make a valid point.. Ugh. I fought a RS a few days ago and he caught me in a loop and everytime I got close to being able to mana break.. He would use luna blade and boom.. Stuck in it till I am dead. -.-
I chose storm blade purposely so I wouldnt be tempted to bring luna blade and start spamming. If I hadn't, I probably would have. Now I can actually focus on comboing (no not looping actives 24/7 either)

Who cares if it's an unfair catch, when Aisha's balls in general are excellent catches as well. Yeah Luna Blade is a special active, but that just means it costs more mana. Fair is fair dude. Personally I preferred his IS to RS too, but that's pre crappy Compact Counter. Now Rune Slayer is more flashy, fun, and takes more skill, making these videos entertaining, Luna Blade or not.

Also I find it intriguing that you can combo with RS's... uhm, not combo orientated combo sets w-o actives. That's very interesting, I'm not sure what you can do with just x drops and runes.... But whateva-- your opinion, I'm just stating mine...

Because it says nothing of this on the elwiki, and since now im going for fire fist I don't know how to reset the launch counter except with ZZZX against a wall, and thats pretty situational.
do you actually manage way of the sword? or just do your own thing and if it activates then its a bonus? I mean, do you use only destruction stuff until you get the vit aura and then only use vit stuff until it runs out? that "2 playstyles going back and forth" is what intimidates me about playing elsword =x
As an RS, you pretty much want to always go for vitality aura. Use as many destruction moves as you can to reach it ASAP, and once you get there it kinda depends on the situation. In 3v3 or PvE, it's a good idea to use up the vitality bar quickly and cycle through as many auras as you can. In some cases, you can fire fist, wind blade, or simply rune your way back into vit if you've just barely used up your previous vit bar. Of course, pulling this off requires very precise WotS management and is not worth doing if you've already gone too far into destruction. In 1v1, provided you aren't severely outgeared, you can usually kill the opponent with a single vit bar, so it's a better idea to use it efficiently rather than quickly. I personally think WotS is an ingenious system that wouldn't have worked on any other character. Some might find it bothersome, but I think it really fleshes out Elboy's gameplay. It's definitely not balanced, but it's a pretty great concept.

Sword Enchant is definitely the better skill for PvP. It's pretty useless in PvE though
