Back in 2022 when btc was at its cycle low, people where saying btc is done for it's going below $15k US it's going to zero. Well it's down 10% from mid March ath 2024 and now everyone is shitting themselves. That doesn't make any logical sense especially for crypto.Its just a shake out phase, chill people go zoom out at old charts. We are at around 1.4 trillion market cap and only growing, just wait and see the price next year in March it will double....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Kelvin Hurdle, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I have noticed what appears to be a coordinated effort in the news media, likely driven by the big banks, to get regular folk to sell their crypto. The headlines are making it out like BTC is the tank yet it's down a few percent...something the stock market does regularly.
BTC can disregard techincals when in a bull, did that in 2020 when it crossed previous ATH... stayed there a few weeks and continued pumping like crazy to 60k. Also, there is one constant... when around 90 on monthly RSI, the end is near. And don't expect crazy price targets of 500k... expect around 100k at most and be happy if there's more after that. If you believe big boys and CEO's of big invesment firms saying targets like 1M this cycle.. you deserve to be their exit liquidity..It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21B'tc in the space of a few months... Why not try making more money. If you take $1,000 and you continuously sell after a 5% run that's $50 each time can you repeat this 100 times that's an extra $5,000 you have set limit by orders at support and sell at resistance I took a $2,000 small account and turned it into 30,000 within 2 months and if I didn't have a business to run I probably could have done more but I have very little time to do it. Stop making excuses a lot of cryptos including Bitcoin are at levels they just seen 4 years ago so if you bought at the top or towards the top four years ago you're still not in profit now if you were to be trading in and out this whole time the sky's the limit of how much money you could have made

Careful with the wording. A trailing stop does not sell at a fixed % under the all time high, it sells at a fixed % below the highest price reached after you set the trailing stop, and before the price drops by that %.
For the non traders, a good rule of thumb is to always take profits around the tax year end so you don't lose out on allowances, as well as try to avoid making too many trades, as well as keep easy to understand and access records of your trading so you can fill out your tax reports. It can also be a good way to use losses on a dead coin as a way to write off in tax on profits.

The problem is that if you take too much profit along the way, your ultimate profit will be less as your position will be shrinking while the asset is still pumping.
I guess that’s better than assuming it’s still going to grow and ultimately riding the wave all the way back down.
