considering you can get a metal full size ATX case for the same price I think ~40$ is a bit steep for essentially 2 small pieces of aluminium with 2 bends and some cutouts especially if the whole hardware you're going to put inside it is just 100$ and the case adds 40% to the total price.
Those are really great looking cases. I am especially interested in the larger case as it would appear there is enough room to mount a 60mm Noctua fan instead.
I do like the taller version of these cases but I would prefer a larger fan. I would probably try to mount an 80mm fan instead of that smaller one as I would expect to get lower noise levels that way.
Very nice case build. I suppose if you wanna take the time you push out the pin headers on the connector and shorten the length yourself. I might do that if I get this case. I still wonder if you can flash a Shield image to this, albeit with some modifications?
I wonder if its AI learning capabilities could be used in a DIY type home security, training it to recognize residents and alert to strangers. Even if you had to have separate jetsons per camera, would it be possible, effective(clear video image) and a safer alternative than trusting a 3rd party solution? Not sure if your into collaborations but would be cool to see you and Mr. Barnett from Explaining Computers combine a video on AI with the jetson nano.
Have an issue with tall case - everything works well but when plug in the camera and turn on - load process fails, screen resolution falls to minimum and power led light does not work. After deleting camera - all works well again.
I printed this case in ABS plastic to be sure thermals would not be an issue. imgur.com/a/am5AO19 Note you might still want to use a 5V PWM fan like the Noctua with this as even with thermal convection it got up to 54c during compiling. Really looking forward to this thing becoming a wee bit more useful in general-purpose terms, complete vacuum of software and compatability right now.
Finally some in depth coming soon... I’ve really wanted to see how the Jetson Performs
Could you do some emulation on the jetson nano before i buy it I need to see it on how it performs
I got the tall version in July and been really enjoying it, perfect for installing a fan over Nano.
I bought one of these cases. You really need one because with everything hooked up to the Jetson Nano, the thing will not stay flat on your desk.

Can't wait for more Nano videos. I've only been using it as a desktop alternative.
They are nice looking cases. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Nano.
But will it play games from 23 years ago?
I'm interested in what folks do with these Jetson SBCs. Can't wait to see your future videos on what you can do with them.

Can you run "native" android on the Jatson Nano? And if yes could you do a video where you show it's performance?

cases look good but really the 3ft cables kill the whole thing. whyyy.
They have no excuse for the price that they are charging to not have to size cables. laziness on their end.
That looks pretty slick
That's awesome. Reminds me to go learn Python

Can the Nvidia Shield TV firmware be installed on the Jetson?
Waveshare makes a metal case that includes a camera mount and costs $17, but with no fan.

Are there 🤔 any monitor that work with Rpi Display port not HDMI.? Tk
This case don't have in Amazon?
can you do Emulation on it? If so how good is it?
I have the tall one, the problem is that i bought the module to add ssd to the nano, and now the box is useless ... u can't fit the ssd too
Brother do some video on Asus TinkerBord
I'm going to say I like the smaller case just for being more compact.
I have Nano and I'm looking for a case - But I won't buy KKSB because of those overly long cables, it ruins the inside of the build.
Mr. ETA prime what laptop should I buy for gaming under 1300.00
Yeah, I'm clueless
Bu bu bu bu but can it emulate?
Is this the tegra x1 power SDK thing? Also is it possible to run andriod tv os on this or does it not support that?
Is ANYONE making a Raspberry-Retropie-esque image for this?
'Dispay Port' 😂
AyEE
the camera holder is lame, I am looking for a compact box with camera holder , cuz I am going to use it outdoors.
Sup
Nvidia Jensen Nano
not very well designed those wires are way too long and a bigger fan should fit just fine?
These cases look pretty boring, don't they?
If your use to the retro console cases for the raspberry pi’s.
