The tile is St Teresa of Avila, also called St. Teresa of Jesus. One of my favorite saints😍. The quote is "Let nothing disturb you, Let nothing frighten you, All things pass away: Got never changes. Patience obtains all things. He who has God Finds he lacks nothing, God alone suffices.". She was a Carmelite nun and a mystic. Her book, The Interior Castle, is a beautiful, deep exploration of prayer and the soul. Enjoy this treasure Bianca!

Love some of the silver you picked up ...the first item was that small tray... like the rack that had some hooks on it ...and was that a pitcher ..love some of the older silver... been collecting some of it and cleaning it up a little... but leaving some of the tarnish on it to give it the vintage look..love the donkeys..I loved that pink depression glass..

Those Asian cork scenes, at 1:35, were interesting. Those seem to have become popular again, too. Of course, they might have wanted a king's ransom for them. Loved the strawberry bowl. It looks like Nippon, and likely from a berry set. I really liked the chess piece Bianca spotted. I used to collect chess sets, but sold most of them when I moved here. Those Eastlake Victorian chairs were really nice. The donkey with the cart, with the hole in the bottom, has a notch on the bottom. It could've had a lamp in it, at one time, and the notch would be for the lamp cord. Nice haul!
Those things were like 1-200$!!
@@chaptertwovintageco Hmmm...that's a bit on the high side 🤨 They're gaining popularity again, but they're not museum pieces 😂 The ones that size, if they're elaborately done, would, at best, probably sell for $50 - $100 each. Maybe that GW wants to become a museum 😂
