Im thinking Billy either let someone have some gear on tick and they had his pants down leaving him oweing the 25 clap or he owed money still from previous business deals and used it to pay them...thats just me speculating ofcourse..sad story though and a good example of why legut guys should never start mixing in the criminal underworld because its different..in the normal world if you owe 25 bags somebody takes you to a civil claims court..in the criminal world you get stabbed to death..its no place for ordinary law abiding folk.

I only met him once, in The Galleon pub in Portobello, which my aunt and uncle ran, just a few of days before my mum died. My other 13:49 uncle worked for him, handing out towels in a massage parlour/brothel, which Billy still owned. Seemed a nice guy, but I was well warned not to provoke him, as he was volatile, and no joke ever went too far for him. It was only a month or so before he vanished.

Because by the time it was found it was the warehouse it was now houses, there was no physical evidence. No one would be a witness

The warehouse was just along the road from where Billie was found. I grew up wi Alex Jr, his auld man was always a complete prick. Alex Jr's sister Bridget was in my class at school. My brother done a bit business with Billie now and then as well. We all grew up in the same area. RIP Bridget and Alex Jr.

Police had seen Cameron before the missing person report, Police knew Cameron owned the farm because he had recently just served a prison sentence for a crop of weed at the farm, with his brother in law running the farm , it was seen as the next enquiry to check if he’s been there, That’s when Billy confessed.
12 years for killing the wife with a knife and 18 years for smuggling swag…. Sounds legit.

There's not much I could do a story about,but this is what happened. Her killer was an abuser, gas lighting and so forth,after he killed her he went on the run to Thailand he was arrested and sent back.After his release he did the same abusive behavior to a new partner. She knew nothing about his past because he changed his name on release,Hes back inside again,his new ex partner is fighting for a change in law where people who commit violent offences can't change their name,hope that sheds some light.
