Behind that was another office/bunkbed unit. We drug it behind a 48000 lb dozer with a winch. Fun fact, if you head downhill, they want to pass you, so beforehand, you wrap a logging chain around one or two of the sleigh runners, to slow you down.
OK, major, major problem with using some of these underground storm shelters. Anyone else notice that most of the doors open outwards? Have this thing in the basement inside a house and the house collapses? You areTRULY stuck. No way out, no way to communicate for help. Away from the house and the tornado blows a tree or a car on top of it? No way out. To use it as a storm shelter, the door needs to open inward OR have a fairly good sized window that opens inward. Better to have a door (with a window) and a separate window to exit through. Easy to armor the window (and who says the window need made of transparent material?). In the military, we learn not to retreat to place that has only one exit (caves come to mind. Anyone else read 'Dune'?). Don't you do that, either.

From my experience in Zombie Apocalypse I will suggest the spikes are a bad idea. Zombies tend to get stuck on them and render them not only useless but can work against you. If backing up (not a good idea in an apocalypse) does not dislodge them, then you will have to do so manually. I would make them retractable for this purpose. They they should slide off leaving only a minor oozie residue to wash off. If anyone needs suggestions for Alien invasions or Godzilla attacks let me know. But It wont be here as its inappropriate to the poster of the video.

Push down on the door handle, but do not push on the door from there. That's where the door is hinged to the wall. When you push down on the handle. The other side unlocks and pushes open a little bit. Where you can push the door open. It would mess people up.
The water barrier is good unless you have a shoddily built house like mine where the water will seep in between the foundation and concrete block because the house was built by the lowest builder, and I'm sure in the 1970's they were paid by the hour with alcohol.

On a horizontal storm door you usually install vertical posts with headers so debris can't obstruct the door but many builds don't include this
