this song also made me emotional, especially after knowing soyeon went through a LOT of this during her days on produce 101 and prior to her debut. a lot of ppl acknowledged her talent but said she wouldn't make it in the industry because of her visuals and her being "ugly", and she grew to be really insecure about her looks bc of it. it just makes the message a lot more personal when you know the artist experienced the struggle themselves and truly believes in it.
