After seeing the practice image carved in soap, it reminded me that someone gifted me a small icon called "the Angel of Wisdom" and it is carved on beewax. The aesthetic is definitely that of an ivory carving, I was wondering if it is a tradition or someone got really creative and ran with it? Thanks so much for your videos!! Can't wait to watch the drawing one!!

Good day! I want to start carving both wood and stone but I have no idea where to start, what kind of chisels and wood/stone would you recommend for a complete beginner? Thanks and greetings from Mexico!
Also, any information you could give me about this turn table type thing that you are using to hold your carvings would be appreciated. I would like to build one i understand the part that I can see but would like to know more about the turning and locking mechanism. :-)
The Bible literally could not be more clear about carving graven images of what you imagine God to look like. Consider WHO is preaching the word and how well they understand gospel. Do not let false idolaters lead you away from faith.
I'm dealing with the "Graven Images" thing....And the fact that many engravings of "Jesus" looks so "White Guy" and effeminate. You know Jahusha was a black man, eh? Probably had strapping muscles from hard work. His relative progeny were slaves in America....Do you know the black people and native americans are The Hebrews? I was just wondering...I'm a white guy.. A Japhethite...like you are...But The Savior wasn't....Just a note...Reality....

If we were to make an image of Yahusha, He would be fit, strong and black....His distant linial relatives were the slaves in America....
