    Here from the Pyne Time podcast. Respected and even liked by both sides, with self depreciating humour. Politics needs more like him

    Good on you Tony Burke! It takes two to make a House function, you as manager of opposition business have been collegiate,fair and tenacious, I'm pretty sure Christopher Pyne would agree!

    Extremely intelligent, quick witted member of parliament. Miss his bromance with Albanese.

    Great farewell speech from Tony. Christopher's departure will be a huge loss to every Australian, he was truly a one of a kind.

    I liked Pyne in Parliament. After reading the Insider he writes as funny as he sounds. Wish he would have been PM, he would have been a great one.

    Hedge his bets Pyne. Anywhere the wind blew is who is stood behind. I'll give him his due a very calculating tactician of a politician. Was a reasonable debater too even if what he was arguing was rubbish. Managed to survive all the turmoil around him which supports what I've posted here

    lemon for a gin and tonic? Nice to see he denigrates the efforts of those who come from less than advantageous backgrounds. Once again he throws his advantage in the face of those without. I am forced therefore to ask where Mr Pyne would have ended up without those advantages? I must however express my profound gratitude to Mr Pyne for being the manifest exemplar of stacked effluent.

      hi were you watching a different speech? It’s people like you who contribute to the denigration of politics and the vile personal attacks on our politicians. Unfortunately people like you seem to think that there is virtue in your abuse. I suggest you reconsider how you address our politicians. The overwhelming majority are there to make Australia a better place, the difference is how it is done, to denigrate someone as you have shows a complete lack of understanding of our political system, the political parties, and the individuals who make it to parliament.

    • @Kelly-ip8nn
      @Kelly-ip8nn 5 лет назад

      @@shanejarvis1108 you have missed the point. i shall try again but in doing so it would be analogous to urinating into the breeze. his cultural references denigrates those who are without by reference to a service normally provided by the less well off to those of Pyne's ilk. i have no intention of reconsidering how i address politicians whom evidence shows an increasing number who are nothing more than self serving hypocrites whose polices support the well off at the expense of the lower classes. FYI I have been a personal friend to Ministers in the Rudd government and to Ministers in the Iemma government in NSW and played a significant role in that Ministers pre-selection. So yeah i must know nothing about governments. Perhaps it might be advantageous not to make such statement based upon assumptions without facts as this does nothing more to support the inference of a significantly challenge impairment to cognition. Thanks for playing
