Lyrics:
From the frozen north they came
Fought for founding father's claim
It was then, their tale began
Trace their roots from sixteen strong
By their King where they belong
En tid
Av Krig
Wherever he goes
Near or far, they are close
For the King of Sweden they lay down their lives
For the Swedish crown they stand
By the King at his command
Five hundred years for the fatherland
Marching across the belt
Crushing blow at Narva dеalt
Livgardet, our royal guard
Sworn protectors of the thronе
Royal doctrine set in stone
For the crown you shall give your life
By traditions from the past
Swedish soldiers stand steadfast
I frid
Och i strid
And if one shall fall
Yet another heeds the call
For King and for country they lay down their lives
For the Swedish crown they stand
By the King at his command
Five hundred years for the fatherland
Marching across the belt
Crushing blow at Narva dealt
Livgardet, our royal guard
För Sverige i tiden
Dit konungen går
De gör vad som synes omöjligt
Vad än framtiden spår
Wherever he goes
Near or far, they are close
For the King of Sweden they lay down their lives
Still for the crown they stand
By the King at his command
Five hundred years for the fatherland
Marching across the belt
Crushing blow at Narva dealt
Livgardet, our royal guard

This feels like it could actually be played during a service and noone would probably know it's sabaton lol
Fun fact it is a religious song it’s called beautiful savior
@@Dizzydysmo I think you're at the wrong RUclips video, this isn't a christian song.
@@VulpesTempestas look it up then the music is the same as this
@@Dizzydysmo Damn, didn't expect you to respond half a year later. I had already searched for the song you mentioned but i seem to have accidentaly listened to the wrong version which sounded nothing like this.
I apoloze for my hasty statement and my possible rudeness.
Have a great Day (or Night;) )
The chorus us based off of a hymn called "Fairest Lord Jesus" so yeah a Christian Sabaton fan could easily slip this in under the radar and I don't think anyone but a fellow Sabaton fan would notice.
This is the best cover Sabaton the organ!
Thank you very much!
It actually isn't a cover of Sabaton. Sabaton took the whole melody from a psalm, number 297 "Härlig är jorden". So it is a cover of Härlig är jorden.
@@Guztenify well that means, it is a great cover of both!
New goal in life
Learn the organ and play this during mass
Can I come witness you play this during mass?
The Sunday after, do it again but give everyone the lyrics to sing along.
Humorously enough, the opening song is actually a church song.
Perfect. The song is actually a psalm called "Härlig är jorden" in swedish so it's perfectly fine.
It´s Christian hymn called " Fairest Lord Jesus"
Fun fact the song is based on psalm 297 in Sweden called "Härlig är jorden". If you search for it on youtube you'll get the original. The name translates to "The earth is wonderful" or word for word it would be "Wonderful is the earth".
Well, I'll be damned...
The tune that Livgardet is derived from is known as the Crusaders Hymn the tune has been used in other songs like Beautiful Savior as well
It's "Fairest Lord Jesus" in english
i sing that every christmas the original song
The irony of it all is that "Härlig är jorden" is actually a Danish hymn that has been translated into Swedish.
Imagine playing this during Christmas. Anyone listening would be a huge question mark after the intro.
Hymn 30 of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland "Maa on niin kaunis"
I love it! Absoulutely love it! It could have gone a bit faster just to catch up to the rythm, but this is the most peaceful and calm version of the song!
Thank you very much! I've planed to do a faster version of it in the future...
This is one of the best covers i have seen in my life
Thank you very much!
Glorious cover. I applaud you sir.
Thank you very much!
Absolutely amazing
Thank you!
Did you use the original charol version in the intro? Also really good choice on the stops and beautifully smooth transitions
A fellow organ player
(also im no native english speaker, so i have no clue if i use the correct terminology)
Thank you for your support!
Damn, it works really well on the organ. Well done ^^
The original was made for it so perfect indeed. The original is psalm 297 in sweden called "Härlig är jorden"
Amazing.
I'm about to use this as a background for my trumpet playing if you don't mind. The opening sounds perfectly like a carol, let's see how many people can we fool on instagram xD.
Yeah sure!
Beautiful and glorious!
Thank you!
Now this is next level epic
I´m litteraly saluting while singing and listening to this son
My applauses! Great cover!
Thank you!
Sweet! Would you mind covering Konungens Likfärd/Long live the King on organ sometime? I'd love to hear that one :D
this is so buetufule and fils me with so much pride fore the sweds long live sweden
If the organ does not capture the royal essece of the song I don't know what else even comes close
i really love the song also im scandinavian (dansih) and the sang is based on a well known chirstmas song in scandinavia and its just better on organ
Fairest Lord Jesus,/
🎶ruler of all nature//
O thou of God/
and man the Son//
Thee will I cherish,
thee will I honor🎶
Thou, my soul's glory, joy, and crown🎶
or in this case
heheheh Ärat livgardet står
Grundat av landsfader vår!!!!!
where can i found the sheet music for organ ? great job btw
Play in 1.25x
Hi, you're organ covers are amazing! Would it be possible to play one specific song if I'll send you sheet music?
Хорош,чертяка!
Спасибо!
I don't know anything about organs so i find it hilarious that theres a foot keyboard lmao
Put it to 1.25x and you can thank me later.
Putting it closer to original speed doesn't necessarily make it better. I think it sounds great as it is :)
The sound gets warped so no thanking you.
