- As much as I love Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, there are a few scenes from the book that are sorely missed. So I've decided to make my own score for those scenes, heavily inspired by the magnificent work of Howard Shore.
I am not affiliated with Howard Shore, Embracer Group, Middle-earth Enterprises, the Tolkien Estate, New Line Cinema, Warner Brothers, WingNut Films, Alan Lee, Recorded Books or Andy Serkis.

Thanks for watching, and shout-out to the incredible artist Peter Xavier Price, who generously allowed me to use his illustration for this video. Here's where you can find his work:

When watching this video I thought to myself: "Man, that guy who's reading the book makes a really good Gollum impression".

You understand Howard Shore so well. These are amazing, like they are literally cut scenes from the films.
Brilliant score for one of the best parts of the LotR (the book): Gollum's internal struggle - and one of my favorite "what ifs": "What if Sam didn't get angry at Gollum?"
If only Sam saw old and weary Smeagol instead of Gollum during this moment....
Again another wonderful work Monoverantus!
Another brilliant composition!
Wonderful video and score again. I also like that musescore sounds really great. Or at least, you make it sound so well! Congrats!
Thanks! MuseScore is definitely a huge step-up from my previous program, Finale, but it's still far from perfect (pretty buggy). I'd hoped to reach a new level with some good sound libraries, but unfortunately many (like the Hollywood Choirs) don't work with MuseScore : /
Man, these scores are incredible! I always wished to get more musical material for Middle-earth that could fit the iconic themes and orchestrations that Howard Shore developed - and you truly mastered this task! I’m so curious what you’re about to come up with next - the Old Forest, the Barrow-downs, the Drúadan Forest or something entirely different? I truly don’t care, I‘m just happy to get the chance to expand the well-known soundtracks with your compositions. Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to your new tracks and the videos where we can just listen to the scores. Thanks a lot!
You haven't guessed the next one, but you actually gave me an idea I didn't already have!
