Fun fact: the children of identical twins are genetically actually more like half sisters rather than cousins due to their parents having almost identical dna. So technically yes they are cousins but genetically they ARE more like half sisters. 😌 #sciencethingz

arrowverse lover 100 Technically, biologically speaking they actually are sisters. Spencer’s mom is Mary. Alison’s mom is Jessica. Mary And Jessica are twin sisters. Twin sisters have identical DNA. This means the kids of identical twins share half of their DNA. So genetically speaking if you ran a DNA test on Ali and Spencer they’d come up as half-sisters.
