Bedtime stories helped my imagination, and made me who I am today. As youngsters we were encouraged to also make up stories, sometimes the stories were read to us as well as picture stories helping us to say the story that the picture looked like they were telling, always appreciated and helped build us to have a closer relationship with the story teller , it helped us to share info and bond closer with our parents, old stories from back in the past, their culture, on the spot make up as you go stories, and they were good at that, these were some of the best stories I remember up to this day. These same stories we also told to our children, with some changes here and there. At night sometimes I just ask my grand daughter to tell me a story and at 5 years old her little brain you can already see how much the brain has developed because her imagination is way beyond her years, her language, you would believe she was on this earth before and it’s a true story she was telling, her expressions. I Loved this story telling time video Victor made me remember the good old days , your daughter will never forget and will always appreciate, and also carry on this tradition with her children one day! These are moments that children will never forget. I have always read to my children, every single evening, until the day they grew up and didn't want my company in the evening anymore 🤣 I think reading is even more important today when electronics have taken over books.

I grew up with my Grandparents but there was never any Bed Time Stories My Grandfather wasn’t able to read either When I had my Daughter I read to her and she wouldn’t not go to sleep unless I sing a Song to her My Son got more of my time I was able to read and sing to him
I remember growing up my parents would read bible stories to us and I really believe this has helped my walk with the Lord getting the word of God planted in our spirit at a young age.
