16:33 Honestly, I'm not sure that is solid reasoning from those Kashtira players: picking an important two-of with Unicorn is still solid, if their opponent is unlikely to bring out the second copy before they use another monster effect, so they just banish that card anyway, one copy on their own turn and the other on their opponent's. That might not be worth it for Granguignol but for, say, Promethean Princess that seems very much to be the way to go, at least against Snake-Eyes.
though, i do believe i noticed he said he used Retribution, to tribute Grandguinol, but the tribute for Retribution HAS to be a monster that mentions Albaz as material. The card is written oddly, but it says 1 on field or 2 in the GY.
Good call, it is definitely worded poorly and when I read it I thought the first line was tribute a fusion OR return two albaz fusions from grave to extra, but I think you are right.
@@JoshLewis07 only had this come up before because I thought the same, I saw it in person and asked my friend why he didn’t use retribution to tribute Dragostapelia; but he informed me that it’s still under the stipulation because it is separated by a comma. PCST, am I right. Excellent list though!
The ruling for retribution has always been 1 fusion on field or 2 in grave that uses albaz as material. I like to play Brightest Blazing Branded because it can be set by Albion and functions as disruption
@@jujubeanz009 Yeah, exactly. Hes returning grang illegally, which explains him not thinking you need to run 2. Why run 2 when you can just illegally shuffle it back lmao.
Foolish was in there, I just have never liked gold sarc and try to keep the card count down as low as I can. Foolish can dump puppet so that's why I keep it. I don't really like using either of them as starters because it plays heavy into droll & lock bird when you do.
2 Granguignol is a crutch and if you have to make 2 every game you are doing something wrong. I mostly wanted two so when I got extra deck ripped by Unicorn I still had one. But go off I guess?
U dont need the second one, altho its odd to play any less since its follow recursion and there are specific lines where dumping on the opponent turn helps alot in my build i usually just make the one every game but i wouldnt play any less

Retribution says 1 fusion monster
@@PokeMedJD 🙃… that mentions Albaz as fusion material.

Explains why he thinks 2 grang is unnecessary
@@AfffS-oz5sd but in the video he says he uses Retribution to tribute Grang which is already an illegal target.

we’ve all misunderstood cards based on ambiguous wording. I didn’t realize either. always learning.
good stuff!
why no foolish or golf sarc?

Played against Kash 3/5 rounds in 2024 lol, what
Yeah, it was pretty wild ngl lol.
3 cartesia is for dodging handtraps, also if he didnt make 2 granguig he just doesnt know the lines

2 grang is a crutch like 2 albion is a crutch lol
@@AfffS-oz5sd those literally aren’t even close to the same lol. You need 2 Albion so you can summon one and send one with mirrorjade’s effect.
@@JoshLewis07 No shit really I had absolutely no idea
