My favorite knife right now is my Case Tony Bose single bladed yellow delrin Sowbelly with CV blades. I love the ergos and the pinch open. It's got a beautiful patina. My favorite (most recent) knife story is a few months ago, I moved into my own place. One of my first mornings being alone in my own place, my coffee grinder gummed up (it's one of those beans in the top, grounds out the bottom type grinders). I pulled out my pocket knife (that day, I was carrying a Cattaraugus boy's knife with worm groove bone) and started cleaning out the jam. I remember it hitting me that this was it, I'm doing life on my own. It was a beautiful moment that I got to share with my knife.
Congratulations on the 500 milestone! My favorite knife is an old Case split back whittler from 1976. It is beat up and the shield is missing, but I’ve had it forever and the blades are still in great shape. Carried it all over.
My favorite knife is soddy Jr. I love seeing the look on people's faces when I pull one out in a gorgeous slip. Have a wonderful day today brother. Congratulations on 500
My favorite knife is my GEC 15 clip/pen TC barlow in sawcut bone. A favorite knife story is about a fellow knife buddy and myself. He had mentioned that he needed the factory box for an old Schatt & Morgan he had and offered to pay anyone who had it. I messaged him and told him I would send it to him at no charge. All I needed was his address. He said, "Well just wait cause there's a package already on its way to you from me" He had already sent me a surprise package with a knife and some of his stickers!! It just shows how this knife community really is. 99% of the people are genuinely great people, and I feel lucky to be a part of it. Best of luck with your channel. I enjoy your videos.
My favorite knife is my GEC 15 jigged bone barlow. Storytime: So I'm painting a fence one day and up comes my friend Harrogate. Now Harrogate was trouble - fun to some (me) trouble to most (Moma), so I was anxious to keep him quiet which I knew wasn't likely to be easy. Before I began to try, Harrogate winds up with a wild tale of trespass, watermelon mischief, imprisonment, escape, and ultimately lambing it up in an old fallen down shack not far from here. She was a true yarn, but with Moma on my mind, I tried to move him on his way. Fine he says and makes like to leave, but turns and says, suppose you ain't interested in what I found up in that there shack I been stayin at. What'd you find? This, and he pulls out a pretty little barlow with TC on the bolster. Those are my initials, I say. I know. Open it up. So I open it and there etched on the blade is Tom's Choice. Well I'll be, I sure enough would choose it, I say. Just then Moma hangs half herself out the back kitchen window and starts to yell me back to work, when she catches eye on Harrogate there. She disappears back in the window but both of us know she’ll soon enough be barreling down the back stairs and we'd both be whipped. Well Harrogate had to cut to the chase then and he says, come lamb it with me now and I'll give you this here barlow. I made my choice.
It’s hard to choose a favorite knife but one of my favorites is my 1970 Case Bareheaded Jack . This was my grandfathers knife and I remember him standing out behind his home using it to cut tobacco plugs. I was fascinated by pocket knives!! Thanks for your videos and for the giveaway! Congratulations on reaching 500 subscribers !!
My favorite modern knife is my green benchmade 940 and my favorite traditional is my GEC 78. My favorite knife story is being in the hospital while my wife was in labor and getting the notification from blade hq that my 940 was back in stock. She told me to order it so I bought my first benchmade the day my son was born. I can’t wait for the day that I give it to him.
My favorite knife is an Okapi ratchet knife from South Africa. My knife story began when I participated in a friends wedding as a groomsman. At the reception the groom passed out pocket knives to his groomsmen as gifts. That knife ended up being the first of many more.
Congrats on 500 subs! My favorite knife is small sebenza 31 with black mikarta inlay. My friend from Texas gave that knife to me as a gift. 3 years ia my edc and that wont change.
Congratulations on 500! My favorite knife is probably my LexRex Customs Shard. The story is a simple one. It was a spontaneous gift from a friend. That makes it all the more important to me.
My favorite knife, maybe the one I am carrying that day? Today it is an on branded jack! My favorite knife story, is one of a young boy, that his dad gave a scout knife, and warned him not to take it to school, because someone may take it from you! He took it any way, but never showed it to anyone! Situational awareness!!! 😊
My favorite knife is a Benchmade mini griptilian that was found in a cabin in Tennessee on a church trip with my youth group, still have it 4 years later and carry it a few times a week
Case Kinzua Smalltooth pick and sodbuster. My father -in -law always joke with me about all my knives I have. He would always said "the only pocket knife you need is a barlow knife."
Favorite knife is my Kershaw Leek with a broken tip followed closely by my Tactile Knife Co. Bexar. I think my favorite knife story is when i bought my dad a Civivi Mini Praxis almost 3 months before father's day, and in that 3 months I accidentally got him interested in traditionals.
My Favorite knife is a SodBuster Jr. And my favorite knife Story is for me anyways was after trying like 10 plus GEC drops that I was able to buy my very First GEC and the fact I didn’t have to pay Evilbay prices, but more the fact that I just simply was even able to purchase one was the real story. It was a #13 Whip and I was grateful and blessed at the time to get any GEC, so I was super excited. Hopefully this counts as a knife story. 👍
@@Sanctified_EDC_Gear yessir it does brother and awsome story I know exactly what you mean about the gec drops and they are very difficult thank you for sharing
My favorite knife is my small Sebenza paired with a copperlock. My story is, my coworker is kind of a “knife guy” too, but more on the budget end. I know he has watched RUclips pocket dump videos, because we have talked about it. I’m pretty sure he has run across my videos, but since I am mostly “faceless” in my videos, he has never said anything to me. 😂
Favorite knife rn is my kershaw launch 15, and kind of knife story is when i was way younger i had an obsidian arrowhead and thought "this thing isnt sharp at all, how stupid" then i ran it across my thumb and cut the crap out of it and freaked out. Respect the edge
