Great looking setup! My brother and I just received our tents and stoves for our families to use while staying out at our property during the cooler months. Excited to use them! We plan on keeping them up from October through March, but I guess we'll need to see how they hold up. Have you experienced any condensation within the tent while using the stove? Thank you. Cute family, and the meal looked delish!
Thank you so much! You will have a great time in them I’m sure, plenty of venues do keep them up for months at a time. We haven’t experienced condensation (yet?!) it has been super hot here but even in the autumn it was pretty dry! Not like a normal tent. 😊
@@sarah56618 That is great news! We've never used canvas tents before. We're backpackers, so we are used to going as light as possible. Thanks for answering my question. Take care!
Thank you! Yes of course, it’s the petromax FT 4.5t. It’s a 4 litre one and recommended for 2-5 people. This is the slightly newer model without the little feet on the bottom, which makes it a bit lighter. (Still pretty heavy though!)
Thank you! We kept feeding the stove until we went to sleep and it did burn out in the night. We woke up around 5 to restart it which I don’t think was bad. We have yet to try a night brick and think that would give more long lasting heat so it’s on the list for autumn camping! We are really pleased with the stove itself and love how it has a window on the side too. 😊
Of course! The lights on the centre pole have batteries and are these ones, www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07W3GHFJ6?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title The lights that are around the edge of the tent are from tescos that we got at Christmas, they are the multifunction warm white, 240. They are mains powered so used our electric hook up 😊 I hope that’s helpful
Thank you! I appreciate your comments. We have a blanket rule that they don’t touch it, even when it’s cold. They are used to it and supervised all the time. It was a big decision for us, and based on their behaviour, it’s a good fit for us. Fitting everything in the car was the most unrealistic part 😊
We have only been caught in a shower once and it was just fine. I believe the canvas needs to be seasoned or weathered before a downpour as it helps fill gaps in the fibres. I’m sorry that’s not of much help! We love ours.
Cool video! We just got a bell tent too. What lights do you have on your guy ropes?

Lovely video, thank you. Really liking that Dutch oven. Could you please provide details?

What size is this tent? I saw they have different sizes! Is it a 16ft? 19ft? 23ft???
Great video. So how was the stove through the night? Did it keep you warm? I'm considering one of these and an awning. Great value for money.

Is this tent from BOUTIQUE CAMPING ? @Sarah robinson ???
who is the song in the background from? thanks
I believe it was called sierras? I found it on epidemic sound but it looks like it’s no longer on there! Sorry that’s not very helpful!
@@sarah56618 thanks for taking the time to help....cheers!
I like the vlog but you are talking really low in some portions of the video.
Thank you for the feedback 😊
Sweet video but not realistic at all, 2 kids under 5 and a 600+ degree stove in the tent is a recipe for disaster. Think twice people with kids
