Hello & Happy New Year to you!! Thank you so much for this video!!! I am sponsoring my fiancé in the I-129F(Fiancé Visa) and I am on the I-864 forms and am Self-employed as a Salon Owner/Hair Stylist. I was getting discouraged because of my business income and the Adjusted Gross Income because of all the deductions. But if you're saying that USCIS will look at the Gross Income in the Schedule C part of my tax return and not the Adjusted Income section, then I meet the requirements for a 2 person household Income in the Gross Income section and I have hope again!! This video was so great and informative!!

Thank you for your comment. USCIS will look at NET PROFIT on your schedule C.

@@GasanaLawFirm Oh noooo!! I heard you say gross income.... But now this will cause an issue with the income because of deductions on my tax return (most recent year 2022, I haven't filed 2023 yet). I am back to feeling discouraged now!
