    I prefer separating two or more date durations (X date-Y-date; in this case, "December 6, 2004-November 6, 2005" and "July 17-November 28, 2006") with semicolons (as in "December 6, 2004-November 6, 2005; July 17-November 28, 2006") instead of commas, as they are independent clauses without coordinating conjuctions (and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet).
    In fact, I should one day write a description template for logo videos like this one.
