    4:10 Hey, your video is great and really amazing. I just wanna give the tip for words or lyrics like “better”. Using + on the next note will separate the bet, and ter, into their own notes. You can even add -‘s in between or after to continue notes. The + works for words like unstoppable, or rather. Stuff like that. Again amazing video

    Thanks for the helpful video. It's much better than other tutorial vids I've watched re Syth V. Are the 'Lite' voices as useable as the non-Lite versions?

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  2 месяца назад

      You're welcome. You can try the demo voices, but I don't think it does the voices or the program justice because they don't sound very good, and there are limitations.

    • @gregkocis

      There is a free version of synth to test out, but it's worth the price.

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  2 месяца назад

      I've paid more hiring vocalists than I did for the price of the software, and now I have a book list whenever I need them to do as many harmonies and double takes and whatever I want.

    Hi! I saved this but don’t understand a thing about how to learn the basics. Do you have a recrimination for how someone who just bought Synth V learns? I want to come back to this once I know what the hell I am doing. Seems like there are a lot of faster workflows that just clicking in one note at a time 😅

Kind Regards and thanks for your first answer !

    Great video ... very helpful. I have one question....I'm importing a midi file with the notes I want sung, but I'm having trouble lining it up where I want it without having to move every single note. I thought it would import at the spot the tool bar is set to, but it doesn't do that. I know there must be a simple solution, but I haven't figured it out.

    • @ThomsenTower
      @ThomsenTower 10 месяцев назад

      I THINK the only solution is to ensure the midi track you import actually starts at beginning of the song, so that the parts actually play where you want them to.

    I’m just starting my research about this, so I’m wondering about a choir sound. Is there a voice patch in this plugin for a choir sound?

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  5 месяцев назад

      You can use multiple voices and create harmonies with those voices. For best results use different vocal banks rather than the same vocalist for a choir.

    • @evansentnote
      @evansentnote 5 месяцев назад

      @@gregkocis that makes sense, and was the process I figured was most viable. Hopefully choral patches become a thing soon if they haven’t already. My research continues

    Great job on the demo, i might have deleted that autune segment near the end there since we want our robot singers to sound more human not more robotic. 🤖
    Thats pretty much the whole point of buying SynthV.
    For a real time demo…you nailed it!

    Are you using the standalone version or the plugin? Is there an advantage to the standalone version?

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  7 месяцев назад

      I use both the plugin and the standalone version.

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  7 месяцев назад

      I use the plugin to write melodies and add words when writing a song from scratch. Then, open the file in the standalone version to make melodies and alt takes.

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  7 месяцев назад +1

      I start with the standalone version with a backing track for songs I already wrote and program the vocals to the track.

    • @gregkocis
      @gregkocis  7 месяцев назад +1

      The plugin works strangely sometimes when bouncing files down, so I find it easier to create the audio tracks from the standalone version

      It depends on the producers that use them. But they are most commonly are used for EDM, Pop and Rock.
      Solaria usage is tagged with #SOLARIA and #SynthV_SOLARIA for Spotify, but generally people label it as "SynthV (character name)" on other socials (e.g RUclips and Soundcloud).
