The "paper card" that says "return when not in use" is to protect the gaskets around the sealing chamber. It keeps them from pressing against each other when you close the machine when you're not using it. Otherwise you'll be needing that extra gasket they included with the machine a lot sooner than you should, as the gaskets will compress and take a set and won't be able to seal to create a vacuum. Even though it's an unboxing video, you might consider reading the directions before trying to use a new machine - saves a lot of headaches in the long run.
The vacuum seal bags have those mini channels (the rough side) that allows the air to be sucked out. That’s why is doesn’t pull the air from the standard bags. It seals fine as you saw, and is great for bags of chips, cereal, and beans or rice. This model takes a LONG time to seal though. Other than that I’d say it’s a pretty good deal for the money. Thanks for posting!
Is this really a long time to seal?? I just got one and it takes like 20 seconds or so. Are other, more expensive models virtually instant? Genuinely curious. Thanks in advance
take a couple pieces of scrap textured side from seal bags an you can put them in the top of a freezer bag and seal it !! I do it all the time no issues...there are videos on this subject
Wooow me sirvió un montón. Ya la iba a regresar. Es que le quite las gomitas tipo liga, pensé que se quitaban. Y es eso lo que realiza el vacuum. Mil gracias!
Thank you for doing this. I just got one a couple weeks ago and didn’t know where to start. Now I found where to start so my extra sausage, uncooked steak, potatoes and even some fruit are sealed away for another day!
Howdy.. I just received mine took the sale option as well. I as well thought it only came with those bags. Until I opened up the device thanks for sharing.😊
This Sealer Sucker is Awesome - I have sucked everything in my Kitchen I could find - I even invited my neighbor over and she brought some of her stuff to suck so we spent the afternoon in my dining room just sucking and sealing .. Highly recommend.
I received mine today. It came with a roll of bags but no extra sealer. You would think that they could come up with a better idea than cardboard to protect the sealer!
I wanted to let you know that on your attachment for reusable bags if you take a little oil on your finger and put it around you vaccumm piece that the hose attaches to the hose will come off easy
i double the length of the bag....vacuum then seal, remove an use a regular heat sealer to shorten my sealed product then use the other sealed portion of the empty side for my 2nd round
I just got mine delivered today and it was dead right out of the box, nothing happens when you press the buttons. It's locked on both sides, the seal is in place, the bag is placed correctly and... nothing. I literally spent 2 hours watching youtube tutorials and reviews of this machine to try and figure out if I was doing something wrong. It's completely unresponsive. I'll have to send it back and hope that they will replace it.
Thank you very much for this. I read the manual but it's more helpful for me to see someone doing it.
Thank you so much for sharing all these tries with different cases. They gave me a great idea on how this machine performs

Amazing how many new users never read the manual first. The coleslaw bag is TOO WIDE! Just decant the coleslaw into a vacuum sealer bag and seal that.
Good point!

use a couple strips cut from a ziplock bag with grooves.....works flawless
Yes, I had the SilverCrest vac sealer from Lidl which lasted 4 years. The seal time was far shorter than with this product. Just a few seconds.

If you are going to do a review read all of the directions. It does matter if the textured side is up or down…
I have one and it works great…
Thank you for recording all of your experiment! I was confused by the instructions!!!!!!
So was I! The instruction manual makes it seem a lot more difficult!
Nothing, Nada came with my sealer. Glade for this video.

You can use abit of mail bubble wrap to create a kind of embossed shape to allow air to be sucked out a little tip

There is a RUclips video about using ziplock freezer bags to vacuum seal. There is a trick to it; but it works.
I just got the megawise, this looks alot better. I think ill be returning the megawise.

Thank you! I purchased one and love it!
Thanks for that review 😅!
Mines is not vacuming smh just got it 20 mins ago
Same with mine. I literally got it today and it's completely dead.

30 seconds later 😂. Thanks for the video 👍🏼.
You are driving me crazy with all of these bags you are trying to use. It's obviously not for that. You need the sealable bags for the machine
You need a plastic strip, cut it of from the vacuum bag
You need to press vacuum button 😂
What is the rubber piece for that came with the machine?
It’s a extra in case the other one that’s attached gets destroyed
Can you possibly be less prepared to do this video? Long pauses and you don’t seem to know what to de step after completing a step
Thank you for watching, we will consider your advice with our next videos
I have got my volume up to 100 % and its barely over a whisper
Your dog sounds like a kid pretending to be a dog 😂
