In this video, we delve into the science behind Vaseline, commonly known as petrolatum jelly, and its ability to provide intense moisture and protection for your skin. Contrary to popular belief, Vaseline is non-comedogenic, which means it doesn’t clog pores; instead, it creates a barrier that helps seal in moisture, making it ideal for dry, cracked, or irritated skin. I'll share expert tips on how to incorporate Vaseline into your skincare routine effectively, ensuring that you use it in a way that maximizes its healing properties without causing any skin issues. Whether you’re dealing with minor cuts, severe dryness, or just need an extra moisture boost, Vaseline could be the quick fix your skin has been waiting for. Join me to learn how this simple yet effective jelly can transform your skin care approach and provide dramatic healing results in just hours!

I'm an Esthetician and have ditched all of my pricey "clinical" skincare for Peaches. I love it!! Vaseline is a critical daily part of my routine due to the daily cancer meds and treatments for my metastatic breast cancer. I put a layer over my skincare, about 10 minutes before the application of my mineral sunscreen and it helps to keep my skin soft and hydrated throughout the day. It amazes me the amount of people on social that give skin advice when they don't take care of skin professionally. Listen to Lisa's beautiful message and you will never look back! She was a former model and owned a clothing boutique in town. When I was going to go to modeling school ( remember Barbizon anyone, lol) I went to her for advice and she told me the secret to her beautiful skin was “good old Vaseline”. I remember Tyra Banks saying that she uses Vaseline on her face every day, and was taught to do so by her beautiful, youthful mother.
I never bought into the sudden anti-Vaseline campaign; there were too many testimonies from women who had used it all their lives with good results.
I have always used it on my lips, but not on my face, as I had acne for about 50 years (which completely went away last July when I went on a carnivore diet). I think I'm going to give it a try now.
So glad to see this video, as I had plans to go out tomorrow to buy some concealer and foundation to cover the brown at the inner part of my under-eye circles.

Vaseline should be frosting on the cake and if you are experiencing eczema, psoriasis or rosacea, it is many times just active fungus . We have natural fungus and bacteria always on our skin and it is when we leave an opening for it that we can have issues from bad skin care products, sunscreen, or foundation and concealer or even the water in your home. My point, Vaseline calmed it, but I can teach you how to heal it.

About 17 years ago I had a mole removed around my breast area. The creams the doctor gave me were making the healing worse. Finally, after 2 different creams, he told me to use plain Vaseline. Within 2 days the area was 90% healed. After that, I thought if it made the wound area heal my skin, I should try it on my face. 17 years later, at 67 years old I have minimal wrinkles and use it every morning and night.

Along with Peaches Skincare products and exfoliating my dry skin layers, the use of Vaseline has helped the process dramatically. Lisa suggested I use a thin layer, and not only has it helped, but since my skin is more receptive to applications of Vaseline, I need it less often as time goes by. I feel this is a testament to the quality of the Peaches line along with knowing that Vaseline is a product I can use with confidence as well. Thank you, Lisa, for continuing to educate us !🙏 And once again for creating this superb line that actually changes the skin. This is absolutely the best skin care I've ever used. Period.🧡🍑🥰

Thank you 🙏🏾 for this information. I had just purchased a 7.5 oz jar of Vaseline brand petroleum jelly. I was getting ready to start using it on my body again. As a “Black” person growing up in the 60’s it was just a very normal thing for us to always use Vaseline for skincare from the tops of our heads to the souls of our feet, and I don’t even recall if there were any other brands of “petroleum jelly” to be honest. But much, much later on, and as an adult I started trying to use other products, such as lotions, and even later coconut oil and olive oil. The lotions were not as effective as the coconut oil and olive oils. To be honest I still use those two oils. But back to the Vaseline that I recently purchased. I saw a commercial on RUclips (that they force upon us, unless we pay not to see commercials), of a “dermatologist” stating that Vaseline was one of the worst things you could use on your face. It frightened me to be honest. 😒🙄 was my thought process. I was actually thinking about tossing my Vaseline, but then I thought about the price I paid for it compared to what it used to cost. Not a lot of money, but for my budget, I try to watch every penny. I was also thinking to do more research and be prayerful before I make a mistake or do something rash. But I came across this video. Confirms to me that I can still trust this product and it want be harmful if I apply it on my skin and use it for what I purchased it for. Thank you again young lady 🙏🏾!

Thank you for bringing this back out in detail. I have been in the sign industry for 41 years. The amount of paper and adhesive from the vinyl that I use each day is crazy drying to my hands. And I cannot have any type of moisturizer around it, or it will not stick to the vehicles and signs. My hands and nailbeds are starting to age me faster than my face and I am going to get some Vaseline to sit by my bedside. I will attempt to create a new habit to use it each evening. I'm in desperate need. To be continued......😉

Put it on your feet with socks for the night. You wake up and your feet are awesome! Same with hands. It's the best. My girlfriends always teased me for using it saying I'd break out in pimples. Just found you and can't believe how timely this is for me. I am in my mid 70's and all of my life I've been told how beautiful my skin is but in the last few years, my skin is aging with so much dryness and I'm looking very sallow which is upsetting. I've always used moisturizers but never Vaseline so this video was very informative for me. Last night I put a thin layer on my face and neck of Vaseling and thought it might make me hot during the night but surprisingly, I was fine.. I have always worn make up, face and eyes but I swear I could apply blush these days every hour on the hour! Any advice would be so appreciated.

In April, I started using Vaseline to treat my rosacea. I didn't want to try the medication I was prescribed due to potential side effects. It cleared up my skin from the papules and pustules for about 3 weeks straight. I truly thought my skin had been healed permanently -- but then the rosacea returned again. Now I'm using tea tree oil, hyaluronic acid serum, and Vaseline and it seems to really help manage my rosacea -- though not a cure.

      Cathy🍑
Vaseline won’t heal rosacea. My belief after 40 years as a holistic, master aesthetician is that rosacea, eczema and psoriasis are some of the most overly diagnosed skin diseases. They are typically active fungus. We all have natural fungus and bacteria always on our skin and it is when we leave an opening for it that we have an issue. This can be from bad skin care products, bad sunscreen, foundation, and concealer, and also the water in our home. What likely happened is that you calmed it but you didn’t get rid of it. I can help you get rid of it if you would ever like my help. I hope this makes sense and I hope you can trust me. I have hundreds of clients. Thank you for choosing to be here. Lisa, thanks so much for the surprising info re Vaseline. I grew up with it, but when I left home I started using more natural non- chemical things on my skin. So, I turned up my nose at Vaseline. However, I got terribly cracked and sore thumbs and fingers from gardening one time when I was visiting mum. I tried a few different nice, natural. Organic emollient creams, but nothing worked. Mum assured me that Vaseline would do the trick. OMG, overnight was all it took. I was horrified bc it's petrol based....yuk! But it was incredible how quick I healed. Thank you sooo much for letting me know that it's purified and not nasty at all. I'll get a jar next time I'm passing a pharmacy.

I have recently started using castor oil, but never thought about Vaseline. I have reasonably good skin and use a mineral sunscreen. My only issues are the loose, crepes skin, which isn't as bad as it could be and a little redness and thread veins on my cheeks.

All of the videos are here for you to watch. It really is about your routine and using products that create change ( Peachesskincare.com). Do not be afraid to use Vaseline brand, it will not clog your pores and it is very healing. Blackheads and pimples are clogged pores that are really hair follicles, that have stretched and scared thethe pores, and made them look bigger. You also likely have old thick calloused skin and you need to remove that old tissue and bring up healthy, new tissue .

Thank you Lisa, your reply means a lot ❤ So glad I came across this video. It's funny, I live in North West England UK and people think because I work with oils numerous times each and every day, I would never have dry hands.Covid came along and it was " hand wash, hand wash"all day long.As a therapist, you will know as I do that this wasn't anything new! We've been trained as a basic to wash hands thoroughly before meeting a client, take consultation notes, (wash hands) do treatment (wash hands in-between procedures) and wash hands again afterwards. Next client arrives, rinse and repeat the above. The only thing that saves my hands from floating away like crepe paper is something like Vaseline that is thick and heavy duty enough, applied last thing at night to do what you say enough. Also, I've used it as a facial mask mixed with a whipped up egg that gave a great moisturising treatment. A lovely beautiful soul on RUclips called Sweet Angel brought it to my attention xx

      Good Morning and Welcome🙌🏼
I have several. Melasma is damaged Melanocyte cells. This happens from the sun, from chemicals in foundations and concealers and sunscreens and skin care products that heat up with the sun and damage those cells. If you ever see someone on social media that wears a lot of foundation, and when they take it off, they have a lot discoloration that is from the chemicals in their make up.
My routine heals the damaged melanocyte cells without bleaching the skin. It’s also preventative against further UVA and UVB rays. I am very specific about the sunscreen you wear, and I insist on a wide brimmed hat being worn when you’re outside.

      Q🍑
      Good morning
If you watch me you will find that I believe that rosacea, eczema and psoriasis are the most overly diagnosed skin diseases in the world and are actually active fungus. We all have natural fungus and bacteria always on our skin. It is when we leave an opening for it that we have issues. This can be from bad skin care products bad sunscreen or foundation and concealer and even the water in your home. I can help you to heal it if you would like to reach out to me at Lisa@peachesskincare.com. However, yes, Vaseline would be very helpful, but it really is about getting rid of all of the old damage tissue.
      I hope this helps Q🙌🏻🧡🍑Lisa
