    Just a suggestion for thought, how cool would it be if you were able to have someone take drone footage of the drive as well, that would be so cool! But i bet it would not be easy and I don't know how much our Amish Brothers would appreciate someone filming with a drone. I am just grateful for you taking the time to take us along!!!

      Believe me I’ve thought about it! I’ll have to talk to fish and game and see what they think first though

      That would be cool! Its also quite illegal where we are apparently which kinda sucks.

      I know it’s illegal in a lot of places, some say game harassment, some say it’s because they could be used to “drive” game. It’s definitely worth talking to Game and Fish about first.

    I use an older 1100 3in with a factory 30in barrel that has a factory Full Choke. I use no4 3in Nitro Express in her and it will drop yotes up to 60 yds.

    great job. team work makes the dream work. its amazing how many coyotes are out there. the smart ones probably let you walk right by. this method would work great out here in south dakota. Does everyone fill out a waiver of liability before hunting to protect the landowners?

    You all can shoot ACROSS a road?!
    And I cannot believe they only allow #4 shot. I understand the "safety" factor with a "driven" hunt, or "party" hunt, but that still seems like a small shot for coyote.

    • @willhorting5317
      @willhorting5317 3 месяца назад

      Yes, #4 bird shot (or pheasant loads, as I call it) is pretty small for coyotes.
      However, if the coyote is within 30-50 yards...and you get your lead ahead of the coyote right (about 16" ahead of it's nose, on a broadside running coyote, at 40 yards)...it is enough knockdown power because the center of the shot string hits the head/neck/chest area.
