Phenomenal! I would like to hear Metallica's opinion on this cover. My opinion is: It's a great cover! While it certainly doesn't pack the metal punch of the original, it has at least as much emotional intensity. It is actually more menacing with its restraint at the beginning. Like, some people don't need to shout to threaten you. They just let you know by tone of voice and the look in their eyes that they mean what they say and they won't hesitate to do it. That can be more menacing than someone shouting. That's what I mean, saying this version is more intense than the original.

@FlyinVJs30RR This isn't a classic metal song, it's a mainstream hard rock song. And I wouldn't say butchered, but slightly tarnished. But then again, any cover versions run the risk of ruining the original somewhat. If it didn't it wouldn't be an interesting cover.

I get what she is trying to do with the screeching, but I was very much impressed with the intro and the smoky/mystery that it had. Very cool.
