It was good to go through some of your WIP's Sarah😃. The start dates still confuse me because we in UK put the day first then the month lol. Looking forward to part 2. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
It made me smile to revisit your WIPS and remind myself of the great charts you’re working on. I find kitting up a project with floss & fabric takes a lot of time. I will wash fabric, wet floss to check for bleeding if it’s something I’m worried about . I do test stitches on the edges of the fabric with the colors to see if I need to swap something out, floss or the fabric. Then there’s the next step of thinking & deciding where to start, measuring the fabric, checking & rechecking my math, measuring again & finally putting in that first stitch. All that is enough to deter me from starting new things. I really find those steps daunting. BUT, when the mood hits me I act on it immediately. Once that is all done I can stitch on that project whenever I want to. Easy to pick up & put down. To me, I’ve already invested the $ for the chart , fabric & floss. So whether it’s just sitting there waiting or has that first stitch & then waits is the same to me. I just feel relieved when all that initial work is begins me & I can actually enjoy the project when the mood strikes me. Looking forward to part 2 😊
@@stitchingbysarah I only do it with overdyed floss to make sure it won’t bleed when I wash it at the end. I use a product called Retayne (?spelling) to stabilize the dye color.
Yay, a WIP parade!!! Thank you, that was fun!! And another part to come!
I really enjoyed this❤. Thanks for taking the time to show us all your projects...you have quite a variety of older and newer and I really love that.
Aww thank you! I do have an eclectic taste in cross stitch patterns 🤔
Enjoyed seeing all your WIPs. Thanks!
Hi 👋 Thanks for watching!

Thank you Nikki 🩷🩷

You wet your floss? I never thought of doing that.

You will get a few done soon, I think.
I hope so
