Do some people attach an ulticlip to a medium size knife that they want to hang from their pocket on the outside of their pants?

For the smaller knife a slim 2.2 maybe will be better. But the distance between holes may not fit

I bought the ultituck to wear my cold steel mini tac Bowie horizontally 😊
Edit: had to mod the sheath. Made the holes bigger with my Milwaukee drill.

I have the same ulticlips on my CRKT minimalst and Spew, but installed on the handle side of the knife for easy thumb access. How do you get your thumb to the guard when deawing your kife with the clip in this position?
