      Lol... This is why, in the past.. even HK diplomats used to say..."the oversea's chinese".... "The OVERSEAS' CHINESE"..... Cos then, they could sell to US...!!!..... So.... and we know how to follow the local laws as well.. and it wouldn't be illegal. Cos we would streamline the laws here. So... go ahead.. and copy... lol....

      @FreeSpeech-z6j 2 дня назад

      china can not exploit the west, that is the biggest frustration for C C P, let me explain:
      - slavery is banned in USA and the west, so we outsource it to china slave labour (and we the west increased our wealth gap over 3rd world)
      - the west makes C C P over commit to being our slave labour farm and then west legislates that components or products made with slave labour are banned to be imported to the west
      - the west legislates electric cars but then imposes tariffs so the C C P subsidized companies can't profit
      forget russia, china is the the punching bag of the west. Ever since Great Britain embarrassing smashed china twice when china declared war against great Britain we have be allowing them to fail on their own terms since. Even the Holy Roman empire stole silk worms and started their own textiles empire and then ceased contact with china after that

      @@KeithBovain : The problem inside china is not that they are not smart. It is that they focused way too much on externals, than they do internals. That is the issue. Foreign companies have indeed entered China before in the 1980s.. and mostly, it flopped. Why ? Cos they didn't have the spending power back then. Actually. So then, they put into place this "must transfer assets onwards after N years, " or a "must focus on own situation afterwards". There was always a time limit. But some people didn't focus on that one. So... it went a bit too wild. So now, they have indeed grown into the middle class. But they don't know how to pivot either. So... It is a lot harder now, than ever before... a lot harder. The thing with china is that, boom and busts could happen too quickly. Like months and days... Which makes the whole thing pointless. I don't think that they understood that... "the rest of the world didn't have any tech, as much as they do".... So this kind of "what you have, I want" attitude is wrong... So.. did they know that Germany has 100 year mortgages? And that their homes, are still exactly the same as 100 to 200 years ago ???... They don't realise that. So.... They assume too much !

If one them falls out of favor (i.e., falls out a window) or dies of natural causes, it throws the whole partnership into uncertainty. One of the many drawbacks of directly controlled authoritarian leadership.

    Russia has really pushed into Chinese territory (and Korean and Mongolian territory) in the Far East since the Qing Dynasy. China's longest land border is with Russia, and they even last fought a short war against each other in 1969 over Ussuri river island (Zhenbao Usland), which the Chinese took after a 7 month war which nearly lead to nuclear conflict.
    The Russians rode on the coat-tails of the belligerent British and French in the Second Opium war when the Summer Palace in Beijing was looted and burned down by British and French soldiers in reprisal for envoys getting murdered by Qing officials. The Russians gained 400,000 kilometres of land off the hapless Qing in the punitive Convention of Peking treaty in 1860. Russia gained a lot of land in North-East Asia (land that was partially previously under the Qing and partly settled by Koreans and Manchus), oddly without firing a bullet. This was land, 4/5 the size of France.
