I ordered this, and I got it just today. I'm not sure where the hate is coming from. It pretty much stays consistent from the initial spray, to the dry down. It has decent projection, and longevity. To me, the best description I can give, since I can't justify the expense of the OG, I am going to compare it to scents I have, that are said to be similar. I have AG Cloud. I consider the cloud to be brighter, and more gourmand like, as opposed to the Baroque Rouge 540, which to me, seems a bit darker. I consider the Baroque Rouge 540 to be a darkened version of that, with a touch of what seems to be vetiver, possibly (that's what it smells like to me). I was told that cloud is ridiculously close to Baccarat 540. Since I know what Cloud smells like, and now this stuff, they do seem to have a common DNA, which we can link to the Original Baccarat Juice.. My opinion of this fragrance, yeah, the juice is well worth the money. It lasts a while, and gives a good take on an original scent profile. It's an all win.
I just bought the extrait version of this on Amazon for $18. What a steal. When I sprayed this today I was BLOWN away by how nice & not cheap smelling it was. I like this MA extrait dupe BETTER than the actual BR540 eau de parfum which is too dirty money/burnt sugar for my taste. To my nose the original is tacky but this is not.
I mainly wear niche brands but I’ve been dabbling in these Arabian dupes for spraying my clothes while reserving the OG for my skin. I’ve had shockingly good luck with all the Maison Alhambra dupes.

i picked this one up today and i like it better than my ana abiyedh rouge. the opening is much smoother. it comes very close to the BR540 OG.
Does Baroque rouge smell expensive as original fragrance?
Bought this and it’s crazy good so close I can’t tell a difference from the real BR 540. This Clone is so gooddd! no alcohol smell
Just got my bottle today. I haven't and never will own the real br 540 due to price. But man this baroque rouge 540 is a gorgeous fragrance!
I sprayed it on before work. I'm at 7.5 hours and still going. My 13 year old daughter said she's taking the bottle from me for herself. She sprayed her hoodie with it and keeps smelling it.
i got the opposite from what i bought. last 10minutes very faint scent... longevity near water

@@jayreel1736 my nose still picks it up at 7-8 hours. But it's definitely a skin scent at that point but I can still smell it if I put my nose to my wrist / hand. I can't smell it in the air after 1-1.5 hours, but that's not saying alot since I can't smell mancera red tobacco in the air after 2 hours on me

Maison Alhambra is an impressive house. I hope you get a chance to try amber and leather. It’s outstanding. I also picked up rose malaki. It’s Rose and leather. You might like that one too.

I have Ana Abiyedh Rouge by Lattafa and I love it! I would be willing to give this a go too! Especially for the price!

I have both now, and I have to say I like them both, but I prefer the Baroque Rouge 540 a bit better. Smoother opening than Ana, but they both end up in the same place on the drydown. You can't go wrong either way for $20-25
Lattafa is my favorite middle eastern house period I have maybe purchased like 45 different from the house and they have not failed me once.....

23 dollars Walmart online. This stuff is the truth put her on at 6:00 in the morning still kicking at 10:00am we'll see what it feels like at the end of the day at 5:30. I over sprayed and I don't care:6pm and it's still there

I start seeing many clones of "oud for greatness", "Baccarat rouge 540", "tuxedo", etc
then I am like... what? which one is this? why everyone love it? is it too harsh? too feminine? why I was not aware these exists when I was doing my wish list? hahahah

Sounds like a good buy. Only £17 here in the uk. Around the same for the extrait. Has anyone tried the extrait? I recently sampled mfk br540 edp and was somewhat underwhelmed considering what it cost. Not a bad smell but if it was a bit more masculine i could like it a lot more.
Me it’s good also every time I wear it people tell me I smell good or what are you wearing is what they ask me I say baccarat 🤷🏾♂️

Every BR 540, including a decant of the og, I might get a faint hint of a scent. Alexandria's Interplay Extrait, I can smell for a minute or so if I put my nose on my arm.
You're anosmic to certain chemical molecules, like ambroxan. Ask others if they're able to smell you. Don't overspay bc it might be too strong for others around you.

Got this in today, legit reminds me of Ameer Al Oudh Intense? But lighter/fresher and without that bad green leathery note. Somehow it smells like I expected it to, but also I did not expect it to remind me of Ameer Al Oudh Intense.. Very strange.

so the question I have, al harramain amber oud rouge or amber oud ruby? asking for my daughter, her 13th birthday is next month and she has ariana grande cloud.
I dunno....is it possible that I got a bad mix or something? I literally can BARELY smell it off the atomizer. When I spray it on me (literally 10 sprays) it's completely gone in an hour.

Totally waste of money. Bought today. Sprayed 10/12 sprays ,it’s a water. Forgot projection.even didn’t get smell from wrist and T-shirt after 15/20 minutes.

This one causes nose-blindness in a comparatively high proportion of noses. But those that CAN smell it, love it.
