First of all, it's a defeat (and of such magnitude) that comes practically out of nowhere. Completely unexpected against a Frankfurt team whose form has been pointing downwards in recent games. For Manchester United, who were no less embarrassed against Bournemouth, this Bayern result is the absolute worst thing that could have happened! Anyone who knows a little about Bayern's history knows that after such defeats, you don't want to be the team that Bayern face next! In addition, ManU is already more than unsettled and anything but stable!

We all know De Light,who was Bayerns best player last season, has been injured for a very long time. Pavard and Stanisic left, and the Bayern didn't manage to make a find substitution in the summer. Min-Jae Kim will adjust and improve over time.

All respect to choupo, but Tuchel gives him the role that Kane should be playing. Kane's role limited and no Musiala or Mueller to create or open up that space for Kane snd others. There seems to be no stable defense with both kimmich and goretzka at the same time. If Tuchel is trying to prove a point with Mueller, he is way on the losing end of this one. One more time of choupo starting behind Kane and management will have no choice but to fire Tuchel. Imo.

It was a pathetic showing to be honest. There was no running...no will to play back. The whole frankfurt team was playing forward and from us there simply were 5 people utterly uninvolved. This wasnt a defensive problem...and there is no defensive problem at munich. They played 10 vs 6 and never got forward then it was 1:0 and they just kept playing like theyre 3:0 ahead.
But tracking back is part of defense though.
The defenders help to push the attack, so the middle has to drop back out of possession.
But even then, there were costly mistakes by every defender, Kim, Upa, everyone at the back was slipping, missing runs and tackles. Nah buddy this was bad team wise but the defense looked extremely out of sorts.
This hate towards Tuchel needs to stop 🛑 @espn...Tuchel owes you nothing..he is just an honest man,you guys like liars I see

It is good for both Tuchel and Bayern to get part away. Bayern won the Bundesliga last time because of poor Dortmund performance in the final match. Under Thomas Tuchel Bayern is not at all progressing.
