Every time I take a break from your content and come back, I’m reminded why I appreciate you so much. You are salt-of-the-earth, deeply compassionate, and also intellectually voracious. I may not watch every video or agree with everything you say, but I always leave every video feeling more relaxed in my nervous system and more contemplative about life and my place in it.
Thank you for being you, Aliyah. And thank you for continuing to create what you create. I physically can’t imagine the level of hardship you’ve had to deal with in your life, but I deeply appreciate your wisdom that has come out of it. Much love and well wishes from Wisconsin 💙🙏🏼

Oh Brett, I so deeply appreciate your presence here. I'm so honored to know that anything I have to offer is still supportive for you in some way. Thank you for these kind words, and for seeing me :) Sending you a huge hug!

I couldn't have said this better myself. I fully agree. 💖
And I fully agree with your message, Ali. I appreciate this so much, as a human and as a chronic pain sufferer too.
There was a period of time when I got swept up with social media and veganism stuff, years ago (like over 10 years ago) where I took on that wrong, shitty perspective. Then I slowly learned that it's not so. It's hard to be human in this world. We can only do our best, and give the control to God. To life... and have hope for the best. Otherwise we can accept and be grateful for what we do have.
Again, I deeply concur with Brett's comment. Thank you so much Ali, God bless you.

ugh yes "unless you are an expert"... just don't give advice, especially to a stranger... I work in customer service and many people have had the nerve to guess or demand my diagnosis when they see my wrist brace. They often proceed with telling me what to do.
Some tell me to see a doctor, some suggest surgery... "excuse me, are you my doctor?" Is what I feel like asking them.. I may not need surgery, I'm still waiting on a certain specialist, certain test results, plus they see my wrist brace but don't know about the rest of what's going on with me...I just want them to buzz off. As if it never occurred to me to visit a Dr. in the 5 years of consistent chronic pain! Lol.

For tye first 5yrs me and my wife were married i was able to be the bread winner abd my wife was able yo stay home and raise are daughter but then my health fell apart and so much so that my wife had to become to sole Financial provider ... It has been a ego smashing frustrating time and mainly because we have yet to figure out exactly whats wrong with me im just in pain and have no energy i cant hold a job hell i cant get out of bed on some days
Its not the right way to live.
But whats frustrating is that society doesn't understand

I'm so sorry to hear this, and I'm so sorry that you're not being supported. Being in chronic pain is so, so challenging. You are fighting a battle most will never know. And I'm sorry that you have to

@@ThePerceptionTrainersPT thank you i appreciate that you understand what im going through and actualy i think we are the same age within a few months and oddly enough we have had similar home and physical lives i mean i was born with heart problems and so at birth started my up and down health , thankfully the heart problems are gone its just Lyme's disease and black mold so far as we think at the moment and my childhood was spent locked away in the woods by my narcissistic end of the world cult Christian mother that pulled me out of 1st grade to go hide untill the lord returned. I ended up running away when i was 21 , that woman made life a living hell day in and day out but on the bright side i learned how to deal with narcissists lol

Oh my goodness. I am seriously so so so sorry that you had to go through all of that, and that you now have to deal with/clean up this mess you didn't make. That is SO hard. The psychological toll of that would have been more than enough for anyone to have to carry for a lifetime - let alone the physical aspect.
Truly, you are amazing for working through this. You are amazing for doing what you can do to fight for yourself. I am sending you so much love

This video is very helpful. Thank you. My only complaint is that sometimes your voice gets too soft and after awhile trying to understand what you're saying gets frustrating. I just added a new speaker to my laptop and the volumes on my laptop and speaker are up full blast but at times your voice is still too soft for me to hear, especially towards the end of the video. By the way, I don't have hearing problems.

@@ThePerceptionTrainersPT Well, I often have to have fans on in my room because I start overheating all the time so that might have been causing just enough interference with your audio for me to make this video hard to hear, especially towards the end. The CC helped though, they're actually accurate.
It may have been complete exhaustion on my part as well. I don't know. Thanks for caring.
