@@Amerath90 you tried to micro and its cool and all, but at some point the enemy only had like 2/3 spears while you had 8 horseman and a bunch of archers. Dont be afraid to take these fights, bait their brace and then go back and attack, you can also run around with all your horseman and kill all the villagers, since your horseman have ranged armor it wouldn't hurt them as much. Even if you lost all the army, lowering your enemy to 15 villagers is always worth it. Watch the replay again and look for these moments, you will not die with Byzantine eco as long as you're always producing
I completely see your point. I have tried stuff like that in the past and lost all my units without doing enough damage and it set me too far behind. With a fully garrisoned tower and TC the horses won't be able to survive that long and probably only take down a few vills, so I thought it was safer to poke and get to castle where Byz gets a power spike from the Golden Horn Tower and heavy units.
