I believe they got the idea of Tanya's character from Dee From What's Happening because of the similarities in how they would manipulate their brother. Also being that Mr. Omar ended up being on the show later played by Raj LOL
Thats how you know Chris's parents treated him wrong and that they were way to strict because the fact that Chris doesn't like telling the the SIMPLEST things like going to a best friend's house or making one bad grade. It be the smallest things that he doesn't like to tell them

LOL Tonya was pretty much the most unlikeable character in the show's run. It's got nothing to do with Imani Hakim herself, but just rather the character that was written. Granted, she did have the laundromat episode which does establish an understanding between her and Chris, but as a whole she really was just the annoying little sister who relished in seeing Chris (and Drew) get in trouble. Of the siblings, the dynamic that's legitimately endearing as the show goes on is between Chris & Drew.
@@MarYou23 To each their own. At least with Tichina Arnold in the role, Rochelle is entertaining/hilarious even with her faults. Tonya isn't really all that redeemable in comparison.
I love Food Stamps, I kinda wish I still was able to get food stamps. But yeah that movie Super Fly came out when our parents were kids and movie theaters were cheap as heck. You thinking of something else that Julius and Rochelle weren't thinking is insane 🫢🫣 I see that Greg is doing multiple voice characters in Everybody Still Hates Chris the cartoon series. Damn I remember having an Atari when I was a super young kid. Love you peace 🤍✌🏼🙏🏼
