This game was so beautiful to play. I'm glad i was able to play it early because avoiding spoilers would've been a pain. My favorite part about the game is definitely the expressions and emotions animated on shadow, so gorgeous to see
@@shiroutheherotraceon3313 then my guess is Ben Diskin since I analyzed so far that Robbie Daymond is in fact Mephiles due to him sounding like Jugram from Bleach and metal overlord is Ray Chase since he started to sound like Heishiro Mitsurugi. I notice that Ben Diskin did Orion in young Justice. So it makes sense for Ben to combine Orion and his impersonation of Sean’s noob Saibot for black doom. It’s just possible guess. That’s all. 👍

Odd. The intro plot doesn't connect with Dark Beginnings. In Dark Beginnings, Shadow went to the Ark himself, believing Black Doom was alive. Here, GUN sent Shadow to the Ark after detecting a weird lifesign aboard.
Shadow never says that G.U.N sent him, just that they detected something. They could have very well just told him that they found something after he already landed, especially considering that he says that he’s already been on the colony for an hour.
Building off what Ivan said, sounds like both the Time Eater and Black Doom had a case of right place, right time. Shadow was more concerned with Black Doom, G.U.N. tells him about a presence on board, then him meeting Doom's Eye only reinforces that belief, and since Shadow didn't communicate his belief that Black Doom still lived to G.U.N., they were only picking up on the Time Eater. And so while Shadow is also affected by the Time Eater, he's obviously more focused on Black Doom as it's the more immediate threat he can do something about.
About Mephiles I suppose its true that only Sonic is the only one that remembers Mephiles Mephiles saying hes gonna restore himself to the timeline casually means that hes aware that he is from the forgotten timeline which only Sonic remembers back in 06 (yep Shadow doesn't remember Mephiles)
SEGA would remaster the game themselves, and the PS2 version is the worst one of the three versions so very likely they would base it on the GameCube version.

This story alone trashes, T-bags, absolutely DEMOLISHES the story that Sonic Generations originally delivered. The depth of shadow's character is so unbelievably good compared to sonic's.

It’s not a bug though and doesn’t need to be patched. Destroying enemies refills your Chaos control gauge instead while rings refill your boost. It’s a considered designed decision that I think is very smart
As one of the five people who likes Sonic 06, seeing Kingdom Valley done so much justice makes my heart so happy.
